Not only did I get in without any hassle, but the people at the ticket desk were charming and helpful. I have been to this museum at least twice before but always find new things to see and it is a delight to revisit their extraordinary Romanesque collection of frescos. the modern art section is full of works you ill never see outside of Spain and all superbly curated. Lunch in the elegant restaurant was a real treat and I would rate them highly for the excellent choice of food at a very reasonable price.

Very nice, big and spacious museum. Has different sections: Gothic, Modern, Romanticism and etc. We attended on Thursday (in August) and there was no line. Not sure if it happens everyday but on Friday evening we passed by the museum again and there was a fountain show with the music, so it's worth to pop up there after 10 PM too.

What an incredible museum! I spent four hours there. The panoramic view of the city was also amazing. It was a breeze getting through the lines with my reservation! Thank you.

The skip the line ticket was so rewarding. We walked up the hill on a hot day. The line to get in without tickets was long, but no one was in the pre-purchased line. I would suggest not waiting to long in the day to reserve a spot. the museum was closing at 3 pm instead of 8 pm. Luckily, our ticket was good for a second day and we took advantage of the skip the line again. The museum has a rich collection of local art from the Catalunya area.

Out of all the museums I've seen in this world, this one is by far the most beautiful both on exterior AND interior. I must have taken nearly 100 photos of the exterior facades, towers, and gardens alone. Furthermore, the artwork is quite extraordinary and very well laid out, chronologically lined up from Romanesque, to Gothic, to Baroque, and finally to Modern. All of the exhibits are simply splendid to behold, and in my opinion it is WELL WORTH visiting this museum if you happen to be visiting Barcelona for at least one day.

This is an absolute MUST see. Get there early. The quantity as well as quality of Catalunyan art is fabulous and deeply impactful. Hint: Your ticket includes a trip up to the roof terrace. May I suggest you do that first, before the lines to the small elevator are long. Great views if you do the full roof top tour and don't just take the first exit down again.

Not much value added to just buying tickets at the desk. You still have to go to the ticket taker, who then refers you to a secondary ticket taker, who then wanted us to write down our email to send the electronic vouncher to, slower than just paying cash at the window. The Museum, however, and environs, are very nice.
