Historical and Architectural Tour of Boston

Our tour guide, Peter Brennan, shared a great deal of knowledge about the history of Boston. We saw sites on the Freedom Trail and much more. Peter also pointed out interesting architectural details on buildings and homes that intertwined with the history of the area. He knew many interesting facts and stories that we had never heard before. One fun fact: Do you know what is on top of Faneuil Hall? If any stranger couldn't name the critter on Faneuil Hall, they'd be considered a potential spy!! I would definitely recommend this tour - you won't regret it.

Tour was too fast. Driver too concerned about the time. Traffic too congested to see up close very many points of interest. Little flexibility to veer off the pre-established route. Overall okay, but not memorable.

Helga, I'm sorry you don't remember the tour. It seems the tour you wanted was not the one you booked. The tour you booked was meant to be an overview, the more extensive tour takes longer. And I'm sure you can appreciate that I have no control over the traffic.

This tour was a little over 3 hours long. Peter, our guide, was super knowledgeable and extremely friendly. We saw every sight there was to see in Boston and Cambridge. He did a great job explaining everything and answered all of our questions. I would highly recommend this trip.

We loved seeing all the Historical sites, Universities, Parks, etc. in Boston. It was a rainy day and nice to be inside a van. Peter was able to pick us up at the airport with all our luggage and drop us off at the cruise port. We appreciated his knowledge and love of Boston.

Peter was an amazing guide!!! He showed us EVERY must see part of Boston. His historical knowledge was impressive. We enjoyed learning the background of the people, buildings, and landforms of Boston. Peter's ability to navigate the traffic of Boston made us happy that we chose a professional to do it. We never could have seen or even found all of the places that he pointed out to us. Because we were staying outside downtown, Peter told us the perfect place to park and meet him. At the end of our time, Peter dropped us off and suggested a few places we could visit that were within walking distance. Overall, Peter was AMAZING!!!

Peter picked us up at the cruise port and gave us a first class tour of Boston. His knowledge of the history of Boston is second to none. We went through every part of the expected itinerary. In addition Peter asked if we wanted to see anything that wasn't on the itinerary. After about a 3 hour tour of the city, Peter dropped us off at the airport. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone getting off a cruise ship who wants a tour of Boston. Peter has a nice van that was able to accommodate the four of us and about 4 large suitcases and 4 small suitcases.

Peter gave us a fabulous tour of historic Boston. From the pre-tour communication through pick up at our hotel through all of the historic sites, he showed us, and recommendations from his personal experiences we thoroughly enjoyed his tour. This was a great way to start our vacation in Boston. After the tour we knew what spots we wanted to see in more details. It was a great use of time and money. Knowledgeable, personable, kind, great driver in crazy traffic. We are so glad we went.
