Holidays in Boston

I would highly recommend this holiday event. Everything was perfect from the band, snack & cocoa. The holiday songs with the beautiful lights on the water was just phenomenal! My 10 year old grandson said it was his favorite thing we did in Boston.

I wasn’t sure what to expect but this cruise was an excellent from the moment we boarded the ship. Every staff member from those who checked us in upon arrival to the ships crew provided superior customer service. The band who provided the music was great. Their presence enhanced an already fantastic experience. The views of Bostons skyline at night from the harbor were beyond incredible. We definitely plan to do more cruises in the future.

Last minute decision but well worth it. The only reason for the 4 stars was the description to get to the wharf and boat was not the best and we had a little trouble finding it. The other thing was the food choices could be a little better and it would be absolutely perfect! The music was great, great atmosphere, comfortable and climate controlled. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend.

The whole experience was amazing. There was just enough pickings and assortments of holiday drinks to choose from the band they had was phenomenal. I liked the jazzy twist of the holiday songs was just awesome. Would highly recommend this as well as doing it again.

The ambience on the ship with the jazz music playing felt magical. It was an amazing experience that I recommend everyone trying at least once. We went to the 3pm time and were able to watch the sun set while we cruised around.

This was presented as a cocoa and carols cruise. We booked it for a romantic anniversary celebration activity based on the description. The reality is that it is not a’carols’ tour- more of a Christmas pop songs from the ‘80’s and 90’s very festive and not particularly romantic. And, not a carol in sight! Just be aware that this is not a romantic holiday experience.

Christmas carols have several different definitions that vary from source to source, but many definitions include modern holiday songs, and the "holiday hits" language we use in the headline suggests this more modern definition. We went to get our tickets about an hour before the cruise. When we went to the boat the crew said "they were supposed to give you a paper with your seat number along with your ticket." Never did, so we had to stand outside and wait for everyone else got on and we got the left over seat across from the bar away from everyone else. It was like we weren't incluced in the fun. There was a lady with her young son sitting at our table too, I think it was awful that they would seat a young boy across from the bar and not where they were singing. Also drinks were way over priced and cocoa was just Swiss Miss with mini marshmallows in paper cups. The 3 stars is for the crew and the scenery. They crew were very good and very apologetic for the "mix-up" and the scenery was nice.

We decided last minute to come up to Boston for the Holidays. I went online to see what we could do as a family that would be fun. I saw the Cocoa Cruise and thought how lovely to see the Boston Harbor on a 1929 Yacht. It was everything I was hoping for and more. The team working the boat were great and loved the Christmas caroling by professionals. They two gentleman singing did not mind when joined in. It was great

Needs assigned tables

The kids loved the hot chocolate. There were many things that could have made this a better experience. The music was way too loud. Reservations should have assigned tables. We were forced to sit at the last table for two when we were a party of 5. The food selection could have had a couple of kid friendly choices. A hot cocoa cruise you would have thought it was geared toward children. We did make the best of it not, sure I would bring my family on this again. I thought the idea has a lot of potential.

My wife and I celebrated part of our first anniversary on this beautifully, romantic Christmas cruise! The complimentary hot cocoa was delicious and perfect to accommodate the winter weather. The cheese board paired well with the mimosas and the smooth Christmas jazz played by a band set the mood splendidly. Would 10/10 recommend this to all who are looking for a sweet, romantic date night in Boston!
