It was confusing to get stated and once I got the app downloaded , it did not work . I ended up paying for a guided tour which was much better

Hi Ralph, I see that you purchased the Boston Downtown Freedom Trail Tour and were trying to take the "Classic Freedom Trail Tour". As you can see the Downtown tour is cheaper, as it's only downtown. The Classic is a different product. Sorry for the confusion on that, I am always here to help. 1000's take this tour and love it, so I'm sad to see you had issues. I did refund you, so you did pay nothing.....you can email me anytime at info@walkntours.com or text 617-991-3269. Thanks! Please also confirm you had the WalknTours app, you do need that to take the tour. Good news is the tour never expires, and our tour goes to many sites that the in person does not go to, the Classic tour is the WHOLE freedom trail. The in person tour is only a small portion of the Freedom Trail. Have a great day.

I felt the tour was a very good value and way better than I expected. It was nice to stop and have a snack or a lunch break. It’s also a super long tour. I didn’t know I was going to Bunker Hill. It was a bonus.

Was difficult following directions to get to where the tour started. I booked it and wanted to use on my boyfriend's phone but it was impossible so I had to buy it a second time with his name on his phone to actually use it. The Freedom Trail line really helped us navigate and the arrow in the app helps too. Very difficult to hear unless you're using headphones because of all the traffic noise. Otherwise a good historical telling of all the sites.

This tour is a great way to see the Freedom Trail at your own a pace while also enjoying the sights and sounds of Boston. My husband and I shared the audio on one phone and this worked just fine. We took our time and paused at the places we wanted to stay at longer and learned so much about this country's history. The path is easy to follow and the audio is great at directing you on which way to go. We started at the visitor's center and they were helpful at getting us going in the right direction.

Had an extra couple of hours before my flight and decided to do an audio tour. Super informative and educational. Great directions and I never got lost or felt I was going the wrong way. Highly recommend the “ dig deeper” options. Could have missed my flight I enjoyed it so much!

I really enjoyed the tour learning a lot of information and the tour guide even had me smirking— I was disappointed when I was told I had to buy part two to finish walking the trail either I missed it in the description or it wasn’t explained.

Hi Alison! Thanks for the great review for the WalknTours app! "The Freedom Trail Part 2 The North End" is one of our most popular tours, featuring 3 different narrators. My favorite part is probably Copps HIll burial ground, followed by the Fisherman's feast dig deeper. But don't miss out on all the great North End Italian shops we stop by and tell there story. Love it! We offer two options on Viator, One is the standard tour in Boston, the one you purchased "Historic Boston Freedom Trail", from the Boston Common to the Hay Market, it's about a one hour tour. Then we have our second option "Tour of the Freedom Trail, 3 tours in 1, Solo Tour:" This is the one with all 3 parts o the Freedom Trail, 3 plus hours in total and very entertaining. Thank you for taking our tour!
