One of the best ways to see a city and decide what more you want to do in a short time. Added the harbor cruise too, which was wonderful. Decent transportation in the city and they come regularly enough. Loved Boston Commons bc it’s gorgeous and a huge place to wander. You have to order cannolis in the West End and get Italian food (bring cash). Enjoyed visiting the USS Constitution.

Got on bus around 3pm was told too late for hop on hop off. Asked driver nearest stop for downtown, was told Last stop And had to walk for about an hour before we found it

I did the on off bus that had great locations that hit Paul Revere house, bunker hill, uss constitution, cheers bar etc but was told to be back for harbor cruise by 3:30 only to find out cruises where done. I stayed with second ticket in hand even though I paid additional fee.

This tour is not for cold weather also the drivers spend a lot of times with some customer and we only be able to take the trolley twice, also both driver yielded very lauded i spen almot 200 dollars to suffer next time uber for sure

Good value for money if you’re on a budget

The tour covers the basics if you want to see Boston on a budget, it covers the main attractions but not all the information is given to you when you start the tour. The starting point is stop 2 not stop 1 like the map makes out, we encountered a few road closures so the alternate bus stop was not told to us, so we ended up walking around trying to find a pick up point.

Don’t bother

My friend and I got on the bus at the end of the day to just do the drive around tour and not get on and off because we had already walked enough all over the city. It was just us and the driver like a private tour which we thought would be cool. But the driver would say things and then stop short and never finish his sentences. I thought it was bc we were listening and not responding since we were sitting right next to him but when responding he still didn’t finish what he was explaining to us about where we were. He was speaking as if he was talking to 40 people on a bus and not just us. He was making some really strange jokes and part of the time we couldn’t understand him at all. I honestly can’t really remember one fact from his tour and at one point we decided to get off because we couldn’t handle it anymore. I don’t know if he was just on repeat or maybe we should have sat farther back to hear better but it wasn’t a great tour. I did so much research before this trip to get the best trip and didn’t book with a different company because this one has better reviews. Also the windows are just flaps so dress warm bc the air gets in and it’s cold this time of year.

Disappointed to say the least. Couldn't see through the plastic windows. The guides were disconnected. One actually either fell asleep at a light or had a medical issue. Unnerving really.

The people are abrupt, especially the ones at check-in, not welcoming at all. The one older, heavy set driver sadly I missed his name was really nice and friendly and pointed out many things. The interior of vehicles that we were in were in bad shape/quite old and worn.

The drivers also announce the stops and stop numbers...the map also shows all the attractions and points of interest at each of the stops. The first tour guide to pick us up was a younger guy and was great. Very informative. The second tour guide was so bad that we got off at Boston Commons and walked the rest of the way. An older, heavyset guy. Nice enough, but didn't give historical facts about much of anything. Just made bad jokes about Boston traffic and potholes non-stop for 20 minutes.

Joey was knowledgeable and accommodating. I appreciated it when he asked some people having a loud private conversation to tone it down so that other people could hear his narration. The tour gave us a quick look and many of the sites we wanted to see. The trolley had a stop near our hotel, so I was a little annoyed that we had to go down to the waterfront to get tickets before we could ride.
