  • Tour begins at the Irish Whiskey Museum, however passengers can hop on to the tour at any bus stop along the route.
  • You must bring a mobile or printed voucher for this tour.
  • Mobile vouchers can be redeemed at any of stops along the route. Paper vouchers must be redeemed at one of the following tourist offices: 37 College Green, Dublin 2. 69 Upper O'Connell Street, Dublin 1.
  • Buses provide a multilingual audio tour commentary.
  • With your voucher, enjoy flexible access for up to 12 months from the travel date you select at check-out.
  • 1 child (aged 4-12) can travel for free with every 2 paying adults. No ticket required for the child
  • The walking tour departs every day at 10am, 11am and 2pm and starts beside the Spire Monument. Customers will need to show their ticket to the guide. The tour lasts approximately 3 hours
  • Please note, there are only 24 stops in operation on this tour

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

We never found the bus in Dublin. We asked several business owners downtown as well as several volunteer tour directors and none heard of this bus and did not know where to catch this bus. We respectfully ask for a refund.

Not reliable and closes early (at 5pm).

The trolly itself was great! But it's schedule and stops were unpredictable and hard to find. In addition, my family almost all fell down the stairs when the driver started moving again while we were in the middle of trying to get off. We took a weird trip to the middle of a park and turned around with no stops at one point. One driver flew past us even though we were at a stop and waving for him...not sure what that was about.

Viator let down

Horrible, never purchase Hop on Hop off with Viator. Waited 2 and 1/2 hours to be informed there would not be a bus for us at all on this day. This left us scrambling and made us late to a very expensive tour. Had to spend twice for one Hop on Hop service. Just purchase this directly, in Ireland there are several more ethical companies to purchase from directly. We went to the office for a refund and we’re told we would have to go through Viator. Good luck trying to get through Viator for a refund.

This was a great option for our first day in the city when we were jetlagged and still unfamiliar with the lay of the land. The commentary on the bus was delightfully tongue and cheek and it helped us scope out what we wanted to go back and see later.

service less than 50minutes wait for bus that never came I ended up walking to close options and was unable to activate my pass. Viator has refused to refund. I see this is not uncommon l.
No narration just a plain old bus.

Ummm if you like riding a city bus then take this tour! We had three stops narrated and then the audio was turned off and never came on again. So it was just like sitting on a random city bus in a strange city. So weird and random. Wouldn’t take again.

Hop On Hop Off buses are a great way to see the city and help you decide where to go later. This complete only ran every 30-45 minutes and there were no live tours. Bus drivers were not friendly.

There were no memorable events to our hop-on hop-off. We waited forever in the pouring rain for a bus to come by. In the mean time two other companies had two bus each arrive at the starting point. We were very disappointed with your company after an outstanding experience in Edinbough.

Was disappointed w/lack of obvious bus stop signage. In Dublin there are two red hop off - on buses plus the green bus line . Not happy that the bus didnt include train tickets like the green bus line did. Couldn’t hear the bus driver comments while sitting on the top tier of the bus.

No communication, long waits

Stopped at multiple stops for more than 10 minutes, one was more than an hour wait with no communication. Engine broke down in the hour wait (no communication here) What like to have been told why we were waiting so long. The bus driver would pull over at random stops and talk to his mates or get a coffee (hence the long waits), all without communication, this was all by observation.

I always buy a hop on/off bus ticket when I arrive in a new city as a way to familiarize myself with the city (and get over jetlag). I've never had a bad experience until the hop on/off in Dublin. The buses don't run frequently enough and I would suggest using another company. The green Dublin bus runs every 30 min, the Big Dublin bus (burgundy) runs every 20 min. This hop on/off runs every 40-45 min. I eventually walked to a city bus stop, paid 2.60 euro, and took the city bus to my next destination.
