Never got to do the boat or cave tour. Operators called said it was changed to just the. Cliff and town visit. They didnt have a bus for all the guest so we were 45 min late start. 10 or more people were left standing. Unfortunately our driver had no clue what he was doing or going. We had about an hour after arriving and due to his lack of knowledge we didn't return until 2355 and went in a large circle. Guide to nice to tell him where to go. He blocked all traffic for 45 min on the road, because he would not move over so all could pass. By the time we got to Galway every store was closed. I would not recommend this company Operators to anyone. Stay away from Irish Day Tours. Apologies don't bring back a day of your vacation.

The tour itself was absolutely amazing. Breathtaking sights, wonderful experiences & awesome atmosphere! Our driver was a nice person, but his driving left us concerned & at times frightened. He was on his phone too often, drove quite aggressively & even hit another vehicle during our tour. I would recommend the tour 100% with a different driver.

Fantastic day trip, highly recommended. The coach ran smoothly and on time throughout and we had a very knowledgeable and humorous driver/narrator. The caves were something I'd never done before and that I really enjoyed seeing. The boat trip out to the cliffs was the highlight and, having seen the cliffs from above several times before, seeing them by boat was truly amazing. We then spent some time at the top of the cliffs to to really top it off. We had lunch at a pub which allowed us to sit with and get to know some of the others in our group. A long day but packed with value and unforgettable memories.

Cliffs are awe inspiring. A little foggy when we were there, but made them mystic. Boats couldn’t go out that that day, but our tour guide, John, did a great job filling in with other stops,

This trip was "sub-contracted" to Irish Day Tours. The bus arrived at the pick-up point more than 30 minutes late. There was a very shy "organizer" present to check everyone in, but she did nothing to prepare us for the tour or provide any direction other than to say the bus is running late. There was no tour guide, just the bus driver, who rambled on during the drive with random facts about the history of Ireland, but the sound system barely worked so those in the back of the bus couldn't hear. The bus driver got lost on the small country roads and consumed even more time on the side of the road making phone calls ahead to the points of interest. He asked the group about timing for lunch vs. the boat ride. There just wasn't a defined route and timing, and once he was late everything was by the seat of his pants. The driver who was running the tour failed to give firm timing to be back on the bus and was late himself at just about every stop. At Doolin, his wife shows up to join the tour and ride the boat (extremely unprofessional). At the ferry ride since we arrived just in time, we were placed at the back of the queue, which put all 24 member of the "Premium Tour" on the lower deck of the boat INSIDE which severely limited viewing. Shocking that there wasn't a reserved spot for us to go on the boat first and choose our seating. After being on the road for hours, when we finally arrived at the Cliffs of Moher experience, the driver wanted to give us only 45 minutes to explore since we were running late. After agreeing to give us 55 minutes, then he himself was late again getting on the bus and getting us moving back to Dublin. We ultimately arrived back in Dublin 2 hours later than the advertised time.

Horrible Experience

To start the bus did not arrive at 7am it did not show until 8am and we did not leave until 8:15am. We could not hear the bus driver/tour guide because the speakers were too low even after we informed him many times. Wifi didnt start working until after we got off the ferry which was more then half way through the trip. We spent an hour at a heading dog/fort. After that this trip started to feel rushed we were only allowed 30 mins to eat lunch at a busy Pub that took 30 mins to order and get food alone. We almost missed the 3pm ferry to see the cliffs. Once we arrived at the Visitor center on top of cliffs we again were only allowed 30 mins. Which was not enough time to shop, use the bathroom, and visit the cliff. We hated this tour! It felt like we did not get the full experience that we paid to do. We spent most our time on the bus and I slept due to the constant slamming on the breaks giving me car sickness and not being able to hear anything even when the bus was dead silent.

It was ok. Lots of driving with a driver who brake checked many times! Not enough time spent at the cliffs and our timing was all backwards due to delays. Seemed super rushed. I understand the drive there is 3 1/2 hours but feel we could have spent more than 30 mins on top of cliffs.

The Cliffs were amazing! So many area to see them for photos. The customer welcome center was very nice. The area where you can read and watch a film was interesting. The boat ride was very rocky and you really couldn't see from my seat or get up to go to a better view. I tried and the boat hit a wave and I hit the floor!☺️ I'm just a little achy but it was worth it!

Enjoyed seeing the countryside along the way and the sheepdog demonstration. The Cliffs of Moher are a must-see. Our boat trip was cancelled due to high winds and we were so disappointed not to enjoy that part. Next time, for certain!

Make sure your drivers and guides are moreaware of trip and transportation they are providing

The tour guide was not very well informed of area to or from Cliffs. Driver didn’t know the controls to air conditioner or chargers. 10 minutes away from final return did turn on a/c. Very disappointed with this particular tour

All in all it was a good experience. Meeting time was super early but based on the drive ahead it made sense. Bus was comfortable and we made more than enough bathroom stops. My only real issue is that the time spent on top of the Cliffs was super limited. We had maybe 50 minutes there and it takes a good 10 minutes just to walk from the bus to one area of the cliffs. If you wanted to go somewhere else you had to sprint. The boat was by far the best part of the whole experience. The sheep/dog portion was a nice rest stop but not really necessary.

Unbelievable views of The Cliffs of Moher. Don’t worry about getting you up there, a golf cart will take you. Had an outstanding driver, Barry. Totally wonderful experience of a lifetime.

Enjoyed the trip. Jonathan was terrific as both driver and guide. Amazed at how he manouvered the bus through narrow lanes. Lunch in Doolin was good. The cliffs themselves were spectacular and the view from the boat gave perspective not possible from top. And the sheepdog demo was lots of fun. Overall a fun and well organized trip

My sister and I had a very nice time on this tour. Seeing the sheepdog demonstration was awesome as well as seeing the cliffs from the sea and from the top. It's a very long drive from Dublin and back, but it was very much appreciated to have a couple bathroom breaks along the way if only to stretch our legs and get a snack.

Don’t use Viator!

Even though we had received our tickets the day before when we showed up they didn’t have us listed. The bus didn’t have room and we didn’t get to go. Nine other people had the same thing happen! I’ve emailed them for a refund and haven’t heard anything. Don’t use Viator!

Though we did not get to do the boat tour due to a mechanical issue on 9/9 we were offered to go to Galway instead which was outstanding! Plenty of time to explore and take in the stunning sites. Great tour and wonderful driver! Highly recommend!

Nice trip but need some more time to spend
