What To Expect

Your day trip will begin in central Florence, where you’ll hop on your coach and relax on the ride to Pisa. Watch the scenery change from bustling Florentine streets to the vineyards and rolling hills of the Tuscan countryside.

Upon arrival in Pisa, journey on foot to Cathedral Square with your guide. Admire the impressive Duomo, Baptistery and Campo Santo as your guide provides insightful background on the historic sites around you.

Gaze up at the impressive Palazzo Vescovile in Piazza Arcivescovado, now a popular hotel.

Make your way to the city’s most famous monument and bypass the lines with your direct access ticket. Head straight up the spiraling 294 steps to admire panoramic views at the top. After the guided tour you will have some free time at your disposal to take amazing pictures. Your tour will conclude with transportation back to Florence.

Please note: If you have no head for heights, walking difficulties or aversion to enclosed spaces, the Leaning Tower of Pisa climb probably won’t be for you. Use the time to relax at leisure in Cathedral Square, instead.

Our tours and transportation are not suitable for people with motor disabilities or wheelchair users, so to prioritize the safety and well-being of all involved, the driver and tour manager retain the right to decline participation if they believe it may compromise safety. You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Great tour, but description of where to get the bus could be better.

Our choice to join this tour was a great one. Very informative guide, comfortable, clean bus and ample time to explore. Our only comment is that the location where you meet the bus is not very clear. It is quite a walk from the front of the train station to all the way behind the station where the meeting place is. Otherwise we would have given 5 stars.

Leaning Tower fun

The pickup point has no signage so bit unsure if in right place but we were. The panini at the food van whilst we waited was delicious. Trip itself was good and the tower climb well worth it. Just be careful of the slippery marble steps. Inside the church was magnificent. A great afternoon

Pisa Stairs

Better information on where to find the individual leading the tour would be helpful as they were not in the Piazza indicated but across the street. It was raining and cool the day we went and the bus didn't seem to have heat though several people asked for it. We had heat on the return trip to Florence? We enjoyed the Cathedral tour and leaning tower of pisa the ticket should have included the baptistry as we had time to view it and stook out in the rain instead. It was still a good trip with a few small concerns.

Lovely tour! Short and sweet! Both guides were informative and super friendly! I had so much fun and enjoyed the tower climb! Our group was small so we moved fast and the bus ride was really comfortable! The tower looked small in reality but the whole square was beautiful!

It was an amazing experience. There were 2 tour leaders.. both with same names. Both Sara were good. Sara at the Pisa was so informative and very funny… we had a great time at the Magical square. Good coffee and several restaurants to go to there as well. Climbing the tower is a must if you are going for this tour.. the view up the tower is breathtaking . Late Arrival of the Bus Reduced Free Time to Explore.

Pisa is an interesting town. Would have liked to have explored more but our time was reduced by about an hour due to bus being late to the pick up point. Also, Baptistry was closed to the public, but to no one's fault. Tour guides and bus driver were very nice and attentive. This was our third bus tour in the past week in Italy.

Fantastic visit to Pisa Cathedral Square

This was a brilliant visit with lots to see. The Cathedral Square has numerous attractions to wander around and enjoy their marvel. The Cathedral was breathtaking and steeping in history. The main experience was climbing to the top of the leaning tower’s bells. Please do not be put off by the thought of climbing 300 steps. There are various resting places on the way up and although no hand rails, you can support yourself on either side of the wall. This visit was on my ‘bucket list’ and certainly met my expectations - in summary - this is an excellent complex with more to see than we realised!

Bad Experience

Hi Our tour started at 1:30 p.m. on a very very hot sunny day and the A/C was not working in the bus. The driver and the tour guide tried making calls and fixing the A/C but apparently it never worked. Finally they had to open emergency windows on the top to get some air at least. If the A/C was not working they should have arranged for a different bus and should have taken care of customers. This was our first trip from Florence and because of the heat in the bus whole family got affected and kids were super exhausted . If you want you can check with the bus driver or the tour guide about the situation and would refund us the money for the inconvenience caused.
