We had an AMAZING tour with our guide on 4/14/24 at 1030a. Learned and laughed a lot! Pit stops with time to buy water and wine. My biggest regret was that I ran out of euros and couldn't tip our guide :( (so sorry). We really enjoyed ourselves though! Highly reccomend! Piacere!

Missed the tour

Do not do the St Mark’s tour in Venice. It was a disaster. The tour guide was 29 mins late, rude and unprofessional. She did not purchase the tickets. So we had no tour. Be very careful of the tour operators. They are not reliable and Viator does not protect the customer. We received no refund. Horrible customer service.

We tried contacting the tour guide as we couldn’t find the meeting spot and no one answered until it was 30 minutes after the tour started. They suggested we pay more to reschedule for a later tour. Poor customer service.

Disappointing tour as there was a guide situation which meant we waited 45 minutes. Being truthful upfront about when the guide would arrive would have been helpful. Otherwise being compensated for our wasted time would have been reasonable. Guide hard to understand at times.

Super tour guide, great overview of Florence

Our tour guide, Valentina, was fantastic- incredibly knowledgeable, interesting and entertaining. The challenge is always packing in so much activity and info in such a short time in a city jam-packed with tourists. Still, it’s a great way to get a good overview of the history of the city and was especially helpful for our teens.

Florence is a Tough Place to Tour, A Guide Helps, but it's Still Tough

Sightseeing in Florence is Always Challenging This tour helped, but it was still a challenge. Our tour guide as fantastic despite the fact she had a bad cough and cold which was pretty jarring as it came through our headsets. The streets were so noisy and filled with crowds that we found it difficult to understand her. But, if you've only got a short time to get oriented in Florence you'll find this a good smorgasbord. The best part was Michaelangelo's David where our guide had great insights. (Personally though, if i had to chose only one place I prefer the Uffizi museum.
