Not exactly a skip the line experience.

I had seen David before but without the benefit of a guide. This time round I learnt so much more. Our guide was very knowledgeable & had a nice engaging delivery. Well worth paying for. My only criticism was that despite a skip the line ticket we still queued for over half an hour & in the rain! I now understand that Tuesdays are particularly busy due to the gallery being closed all day Monday. So worth avoiding visiting at this time if you can.

Our “skip the line” tickets at 11:15 were what we planned for but we didn’t enter until 12:30. We waited in a long chaotic line. Also, it wasn’t clear that we also had to pay in cash to our guide for the tickets to enter. Our guide was super nice though!! He was very apologetic. It clearly was t his fault.

The guide was very knowledgeable and made the visit much more interesting and fun. It's great not having to queue, especially as there was rain in the air. Do check whether or not an entry ticket is included in your fee.

Having a knowledgable guide to escort us through this experience was truly amazing! Her storytelling and factual description of Italy, Michael Angelo the Medici family made this tour one you will not want to miss! Highly recommend and great for tweens!!!

I highly recommend the guided tour. You get the history and details which is so much more. It was great with kids (our kids are 11 and 14) as our guide was very engaging.
It’s expensive but worth it!

Great experience, it was a well-organised skip-the-line tour which started on time. You have to arrive at the meeting point about 15 minutes earlier. This is essential.The regular line was huge though it was early morning. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave a lot of interesting facts not only about Michelangelo and his David, but about his other works exposed in the Galeria Academia. The gallery is quite small, so we spent maybe about 2 hours after the tour. The tour itself lasted about 45 min. then you're free to explore other works. Overall, totally worth it. We saved a lot of time during that day by choosing this tour. Many thanks to the organizers and our professional guide.

The tour guide was knowledgeable and nice but I was shocked that we had to purchase 20 euro tickets for the museum AFTER we spent $30 each on the tour. I have never experienced that before. The price of tickets has always been included in my past Viator experiences.

I have been to the museum without a tour before. The information learned in the tour significantly enhanced the experience. I chose the 1-hour tour focused on Michelangelo's statutes. There are likely other or longer options as well. Highly recommend this.

I thought that our guide was knowledgeable and prepared. He had good insight into the art work that was present in the museum. He also recommended other museums of interest. The statute of David was magnificent! One of the things that I like best about this tour company is that they provided a phone/ text number so that it was easy to communicate with them as I was having a little trouble finding the meeting point. I think that is a must for all tours and not everyone does it.
