What To Expect

Whether you’ve chosen a morning or afternoon time slot, your tour begins around the corner from the Accademia Gallery, where you’ll pick up your admission tickets and meet your guide. Tours have a maximum of 19 people, so you’ll be able to meet and mingle with other travelers.

Head to the Accademia entrance. Skip the ticket lines and the visitors waiting hours to enter the famed museum: Your tour includes fast-track access.

Once inside the gallery, you’ll be led through various halls, from paintings to musical instruments. Listen to anecdotes about the works on display. The star here is, of course, Michelangelo’s David. You’ll see the iconic sculpture and other highlights in just one hour.

The tour guide moved fast and was not in clear communication with us. After we left the Sistine Chapel we lost the tour guide and were unable to finish the guided tour.

Our tour guide seemed like she'd be great. But the tour operator failed to acquire entry tickets. So after standing around on the street for 30minutes, our tour was canceled. Tour operator said we'd have to request a refund from viator directly. I'm still waiting to hear back if a refund is going to be issued.

Great Opportunity to See David and Learn Some History

This tour offered a great opportunity to visit the Accademia Gallery and see the Statue of David. Our tour guide was amazing - she provided so much information on the life of Michelangelo, as well as the statue itself. It was truly well-worth the visit and the money for the tour.

Unfortunately, the tour operator did not secure tickets to the museum for the tour at the agreed upon time. In fairness to them, they did secure tickets for 90 minutes later, but those tickets did not include a guided tour. I’m still awaiting my refund for the “tour” portion of the reservation.

The tour was excellent! Seeing David was breathtaking. It is definitely a must do. I would have given a 5, but the address given was a bit confusing and felt they need to clarify this. As I wasn’t the only one that may have missed it. The address was 41 Via Ricasoli —! There is a red and a blue 41 Ricasoli. We nearly missed the tour because of this.

My tour was cancelled 1 hour before. The museum was running behind and we hopped in the pay line and waited a little over an hour and got in on our own. My review is only based on timing of the cancellation. They fortunately will be giving me a refund.
