Too Crowded, Lines for "Skip the Line"

Tuesdays may not be the best day to go , very crowded (closed on Monday) inside and outside. There were long lines for the "skip the line" and pick-up for online purchases( no e-tickets). Had difficulty finding the third party ticket provider outside the museums we did not know the area well and could not find the specific statue meeting place. Inside we were not even able to see inside the famed Tribuna Room because of the large line and the museum didn't have staff assigned to move things along.

It was fine. We met our person at the appropriate meeting point. He gave us our tickets, which oddly enough said your times much earlier in the day, however, when we entered the museum, it didn’t seem to matter. And considering people around us were asking where to buy tickets, I felt the process was helpful and took the pain of trying to figure out the minutiae.

Our ticket assistant, Hassan, was very easy to find right outside the Uffizi gallery. He was extremely accommodating and thoughtful when giving us instructions on getting into the gallery.

It was the most disappointing and disorganised situation with my ticket. All like a shady deal. Instead of an office to pick up the ticket, there was a man standing in the corner of a street. NEVER AGAIN!!

Worth every cent of the 4 euros to skip the queue - strongly suggest you go for earliest entry time to avoid crowds - great cafe on upper level

Great gallery it was great to skip the line but there was no one to help us find the place where you’re supposed to hand out tickets despite being in the same general area. Most of the time you have to look for the guide or whatnot and a lot of the time there’s no way to distinguish who is the guide or ticket provider. It was hard to find and I ended up wasting a hour trying to find them.

Wonderful art. We booked tickets for three days. Our only difficulty was that the place to redeem the tickets (Piazza degli Uffizi, 6 ) is not clearly marked. Or if it is, we missed it. The ticket holder should be wearing something highly visible. When we did find him, however, he was very pleasant.

No Direction, No Help

Worthless waste of time. We had to run around to find some random dude with the physical ticket after the online purchase. No directions or anything anywhere to help those who need it. Don’t expect to just get in after you buy them and have receipts, confirmation numbers and everything else. Nope you still have unknown hoops to jump through prior to winding up standing in a long security line. We only skipped the line for the tickets, but in the end we probably didn’t save any time.
