Fantastic experience!

Irena was a fantastic guide! She was SO knowledgeable and made the stories behind the paintings come alive! We were so fortunate to gain wonderful insight into the iconic Rennaissance art we saw! Irena tailored our visit to us and what we wanted to see. She knew all the hidden corridors to get to the quickest elevators and bathrooms. She even knew the whole life story of an artist we asked about who wasn’t even featured in the Uffizi! The symbolism of the paintings was explained so well. We will forever remember our tour with Irena thru Viator. We can highly recommend her!

Irina is fabulous. We would highly recommend her. We have been to the Uffizi gallery a couple of times and decided to hire someone for a private tour this time. We selected her from other reviews on the website and she far exceeded our expectations. She went above and beyond with our private tour of the Uffizi gallery. She covered everything we wanted to do and more. Her english is excellent. She has such a lovely demeanor and was a joy to listen to. Her knowledge of Florence, Florence history, art history and art in general was impressive. She made our time at the Uffizi very special. We took everything we learned from her - and it made our experiences at the Medici Chapel, the Bargello and Galileo even more special. The Uffizi is a large overwhelming museum - and she made it an absolutely positive experience - even in the heat of August! I would highly recommend her and would definitely use her again. Well Narrated Tour of the best of Florentine Art

We booked separate private tours to DAVID and the UFFIZI Gallery, and were fortunate to have Irina (Irina in Florence) on both tours. The Uffizi can be overwhelming and she used her extensive knowledge to help us focus and learn the history and context for many of the paintings, as well as the history of the Medici family and the gallery itself.The personalized experience was valuable especially since it was a crowded Friday afternoon. We never felt rushed and the pace seemed right. Would highly recommend her private tour.

Best way to see the Uffizi

Thinking whether a private tour is the right idea? Book it. Having never been to the Uffizi, we were pleased we booked this tour. Irina was the perfect guide, bringing us through so much history, art and sculpture in a manageable fashion. It is a crowded museum and we were there in the off season. I can't imagine the summer crowds. Having the small private tour allowed us to hear, see and get the stories behind the awe inspiring works of art. If you're lucky, you'll get Irina as your guide.
