This trip truly exceeded our expectations and it was a an absolutely seamless experience from start to finish. The staff was amazing, the scenery was beautiful, and our whole family enjoyed the entire experience. Captain Black was fantastic, and his narration truly brought the scenery to life and gave us a unique perspective of the incredible history of this area. This is not a pleasure cruise and not for the faint of heart, but if you are truly looking for an adventure… This is the certainly the trip to take. I HIGHLY recommend it!!

Unbelievable experience. The sea life, sea caves and scenery were amazing. Rick and Ono were were full of I formation…. At least I think that was his name! For sure would do this trip again

Captain was wreckless and needs to grow up...

This tour would have been awesome if the Capt (Gabe B) wasn't so immature and doing stupid things like pulling doughnuts in the ocean. And mind you I've spent most of my life on boats since I was a kid and also have been on plenty of Zodiac tours on 3 other islands and on the mainland as well (Nor Cal and So cal) and it's really easy for me to understand when someone is just driving like a jerk and being wreckless especially when the water was so calm (in my opinion under 1 foot waves). He also yelled at my partner for asking to use a simple snorkeling float noodle. To make it even worse, he reduced our snorkeling time to just 10mins when every other Zodiac snorkeling I've been on gave us a minimum of 35mins to snorkel. This captain also sped through the cave portions and then complained about his job. And just as an FYI I never ever like to write any negative reviews as its not something that I like to put energy into but this particular Capt is really pretty wreckless and overall problematic. Also we went on other trips oon Kauai island and it was night and day when we compared him to other captains. We then spoke about this above boat/dive experience another tour crew aactuallyand they actually told us that this guy was recently fired from thier crews and company because of his problematic behaviors and complaints.

The captain and guide were very helpful and gave us a safe, informative trip. The safety briefing was helpful, the boating skills were on a par for what was necessary and both tried to give us a positive experience while dealing with rain, surf and currents. We only wish we could have had the opportunity to give the staff a tip for their efforts.

Loved the dolphins and sea cave. The driver’s assistant was good too! Cons: the zodiac driver Captain Larry was the only negative besides our dried out sandwiches and the wrong lunch orders for some other kids. For one thing Larry began the day by announcing he didn’t want to deal with any “Karen’s”. "Karen" is a pejorative term seen as targeting privileged White women. We definitely felt targeted throughout the experience. Larry was a handful and it took us three days to get over dealing with him for five long hours. We would only do this ride again without Larry.

My family of four absolutely loved this adventure. Even my hard-to-please 15 year old told me to give it 5 stars! Capt. Adam and first mate Christian were delightful -- so informative and fun! I will say that this trip is not for the faint of heart -- it's truly a wild adventure! My husband and I sat in the front of the boat and felt like we took a beating as the raft bounded over the waves. The rough ride was totally worth it, though. (And it seemed as if those in the back and middle of the craft were bounced around less?). The view of the Napali Coast was one of the most beautiful sites we'd ever seen. It's truly surreal. We loved admiring and learning about the incredible landscape as well as spotting waterfalls and all kinds of sea life, including numerous sea turtles and even a monk seal and her baby on one of the beaches! Getting to explore several sea caves was an awesome experience as well. Everyone in the raft seemed to be in complete awe of the natural wonder of those caves! While I originally booked this trip in hopes of snorkeling at a great site, that was actually the least exciting part of our experience. Our view was murky and we didn't have a ton of time in the water. That didn't end up being much of an issue, though, because bounding over the waves the way we were had tired our bodies to the point that we didn't have much energy to be out too long. Adam and Christian provided thorough instructions before we entered the water and Christian was there to assist and help keep us safe. (Several people stayed in the boat instead of snorkeling and that was fine, too!) We did see a few cool fish while in the water. Christian also carefully and respectfully introduced some of us to a sea snail. Others in our party found and hung out with a sea turtle during their time in the water. I regret not bringing my GoPro to capture more video and photos than I could on my phone. The ride is so fast and you get sprayed enough that you don't want to/can't have your phone out the whole time. And you definitely don't want to bring a bulky, expensive camera. We were provided with tasty sandwiches, chips and drinks after snorkeling, which was perfect timing. We took an afternoon ride, and while we ate lunch beforehand, were definitely hungry at that halfway point in the trip. Highly recommend wearing a swimsuit along with a cover-up, as well as a poncho or rain jacket for the trip home. You will be provided with a dry bag for phones and extra clothes, though you don't need to lug a ton. If you're fair-skinned like my family is, apply reef-safe sunscreen before climbing aboard, and then after snorkeling. (We got sunburnt on the ride back). No matter what, though, BOOK THIS TRIP. I have a feeling we will be talking about this adventure for a long, long time!

This was an amazing tour! The views of the natural beauty of this area of the island were stunning. If you get sea sick easily probably not the tour for you. But if you love the water and seeing new things this is a must. Dolphins, turtles, fish, and monk seals all observed in addition to the raw beauty of the area.
