    Immerse yourself into Wawel castle's and Poland'shistory

    Wawel castle is a central historical site in Kraków, but challenging to navigate and understand without a guide. I recommend a guidef tour that not only introduces the area but also delves into the rich history of Poland. Helen our guide, was fantastic and inspiring. She brought into life the history of Poland and Kraków. A heartfelt thank to Helen for an unforgettable Wawel castle tour, an experience I wholeheartedly endorse for any visitor to Kraków.

    Really interesting tour and lots of history to soak up. Some beautiful sculptures and art works throughout. Great views from the bell tower too. Helen our tour guide was brilliant and really brought this to life for our group. Lot of stairs as you would expect so be prepared if you have difficulty walking.

    Booked this on a whim when we were already in Krakow! Must say was so impressed. Our tour guide Helena was absolutely fantastic. She made the tour for us. She was so knowledgeable and made the past come alive for us! The castle, the cathedral and the catacombs were brilliant. We walked all the way up the tower to see the bell which wasn’t as hard as I thought. Overall a fantastic experience.

    Barbara was excellent. We would have missed the most interesting and important historical points without her. The bell tower is fascinating. The cathedral was beautiful. Do not skip the main crypt where the kings are buried. The coffins are amazing, too bad no pictures are allowed.

    Seeing some of the treasures including one of the finest chain mail shirts, it was exquisite. The castle cathedral was also stunning, with some very beautiful statues I would have loved to take a photo of. The bell tower is worth it though quite steep and has low head room.

    Wawel Castle and Wawel Cathedral both had a beautiful exterior and interior. Would have been great to see the rest part of the Castle’s armory and royal treasures.

    Lovely castle in Krakow! There’s a steep hill to get to the castle for those people with mobility issues. Our tour guide was very motivated and knowledgeable. The view from the castle (over looking the river) was stunning! There were so many school groups touring the castle on the day we went; however, this was out of his control. These school groups are common in the month of June. Overall, a lovely day.

    Going through the state rooms in Wawel Castle and learning about the different kings and how they lived was very interesting. Our kids on the other hand loved the Cathedral. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and described everything in great passion for Polish history. The only recommendation we have is that the tour was moving a little fast and we didn’t get a chance to look at all of the exhibits and the elderly couple had a difficult time keeping up especially in the beginning of the tour when we had to go up the hill to get to the castle. Excellent guided tour and I would definitely recommend for anyone visiting!

    The castle and the cathedral are lovely. Unfortunately our guide seemed uninspired and was able to convey only a limited amount of information during the tour.

    A nice little trip to the Wawel Castle, for around 2 hours. I appreciated the knowledgeability of the guide, however, sometimes there was an abundance of information which make it difficult to follow the inner story.
