Please note that to reach the first level of the mine (64 meters underground), You have to descent a wooden stairway which has 378 stairs. After the tour, You will be taken up to the surface with a lift.

Luke was our driver and tour guide, he was friendly and helpful. We first visited Auschwitz 1, then Auschwitz Birkenau, we then had lunch and then went to the Salt Mines. Our tour guide for Auschwitz 1 and Auschwitz Birkenau, was very informative and knowledgeable. It was interesting to visit the two camps and learn more about what the people went through. For our lunch we got a cheese salad roll, chicken pasta, wafer bar, apple, a sweet & a bottle of water, the lunch was really nice. The Salt Mines were interesting. I would definitely recommend this trip.

It's a must-do! It was a very well-organized tour. It was easy to book online, and the driver arrived on time. The minivan seats eight, so you must go to the bathroom before leaving. It's a 10+ hour tour with lots of driving. Auschwitz is not suitable for children.

The tour operator was great. On schedule, as promised, excellent guides, decent lunch and transport. However, I was not aware that I would be waking over 8 miles! To me, the salt mines are something like upscale Disney - a lot of hoola and artifice. Interesting if you like that sort of thing

The trip was amazing...the 6am start was a bit tough but I understand why, It's a lot to pack into one day. Mathew, our driver was fantastic and kept us on time! Salt mines was the trip that just kept on giving, so much to see! Auschwitz is something that you just can't review! We had the lunch option and it was decent - A roll, pasta salad, chocolate bar, fruit and a bottle of water. I would recommend trying to grav a coffee before you go as you only get a chance at lunchtime.

We definitely recommend visiting these places. Auschwitz is one of the most important place in history, which will not leave you indifferent. It was very interesting to walk in the salt mine, a unique place. The tour was perfectly organized and, thanks to the appropriately timed rest breaks, was physically easy. MrShuttle is an operator that can be safely recommended!

A challenging trip for obvious reasons. The guide was very good with appropriate knowledge and respect for the visit to Auschwitz. The salt mines were well worth a visit and the whole day worked very we.. Be ready for an early start though.

Well organised picked up at exact location at time that was emailed to us. Very humbling visit to Auschwitz & one that every human being should do. Salt mines were interesting. Pick up was an hour late & no communication - which is bizarre & worrying on the day. Tour guide was exceptional at Auschwitz. Tour highly recommended - do it.

The Auschwitz-Birkenau tour was very informative, we had a great guide who was very clear and took us round at a steady pace. Wear flat, comfortable shoes as the ground is slightly uneven and a bit muddy if it’s wet. The tour is well organised with toilet stops at each location. Lunch at Auschwitz II was surprisingly excellent. Everyone was given a lunchbox with chicken pasta salad, a ham and cheese roll, chocolate, an apple and a bottle of water. The salt mine was really interesting, not what I expected. There is a lot of stairs on the way down but a lift brings you back up. Our guide, Mark, was excellent, he brought a lot of knowledge and some humour to the tour. There are 2 stops in the mines with an opportunity to buy snacks, drinks and souvenirs and to use the toilets. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Krakow, it is a very early start (0610 in our case) so it is a long day but worth it.

The visit to Auschwitz/Birkenau was incredibly thought provoking and moving - the guides are excellent and explain the history and the horrors of both sites. Quite honestly there are no words to describe the scale of the atrocities committed here. The visit to the Salt Mines was excellent - very informative and an incredible place. It is a long day but both are well worth the time spent. The arrangements for the trip were well organised and lunch was very good too.

Our guide at Auschwitz was very knowledgable, and relayed personal stories about some of her own family members being murdered at the camp. Very moving experience. The salt mines were a completely different experience. Our guide was great, informative, and engaging. She was the perfect guide to have while exploring the mines. We talked with our friend that we were glad to combine the two activities in one day, to attempt to balance out our emotions.
