Great tour with Dominika
Clint_W, Nov 2023
Really enjoyed this tour and learned a lot of information about the Plaszow camp area that I would definitely not have learned without this tour and guide Dominika. Speaking of the guide, Dominika was fantastic and would definitely recommend you request her if you get the chance. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and history.
Response from Host, Nov 2023
Probably our most interesting trip, although certainly not as popular as Auschwitz or Wieliczka. And then there's our wonderful Dominika. She is really worth meeting. 🥰😇Safe and meaningful journeys ahead! 🌟🚌🛤️
Krakow's guides are top notch
Kevin_O, Jul 2023
Despite the inclement weather Dominique provided an memorable tour displaying impressive knowledge of the subject matter, speaking clearly with a comprehensive English vocabulary. Her explanation of the operation of the ghetto and Plaszow concentration camp revealed the true horror of the humiliation and attempted destruction of Krakow's Jews during the occupation, truly horrifying.
Response from Host, Jul 2023
Thank you for sharing your experience! We're glad Dominika could make the tour memorable despite the weather. 🌧️🌧️ She's indeed a knowledgeable guide who can shed light on the darkest chapters of history. The horrors of the past must never be forgotten. If you ever wish to explore more, feel free to reach out. Safe travels and take care!
Great little tour
Michael_P, Jun 2023
Great little tour, lots of walking but very informative. Interesting to go round an area that was a camp previously
A must do
Donna_s, May 2023
Our guide for the day was really informative.. the museum is a must do in krakow. Wear comfy shoes when visiting the plazcow camp, its hilly & muddy in places it’s not as touristy as auschwitz.
Response from Host, May 2023
Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We're glad to hear that you found our guide informative and that you enjoyed your visit to the museum. You're right, comfortable shoes are definitely recommended for the Plaszow camp, and we appreciate the tip. Hope to see you on another tour soon! 😊
Not good at all
David_J, Nov 2022
Not good. Our guide seemed to have somewhere else he needed to be. While he was knowledgeable about the holocaust he seemed to have very little knowledge or appreciation for the ghetto. His narrative was very generalized. We would have been much better off just watching YouTube and using that instead.
Plazow tour
Thomas_O, Sep 2022
Great tour and very friendly guide Even though we were a little late she waited patiently for us to arrive Thanks we will be back for sure
Response from Host, Sep 2022
Thank you very much for your feedback. We can't imagine not waiting for our customers, especially when we are in constant contact with them. We always do it that way. See you next time!
Really interesting unique tour
Emma_B, Sep 2022
Really interesting unique tour, off the beaten track, our guide was very knowledgeable, saw loads we would never have seen without the tour, finished off with tickets to the museum which again was very interesting, would recommend this tour.
Response from Host, Sep 2022
Hi Emma! Thank you for your support! You've highlighted two key points, this is a unique trip and off the tourist trail. It's hard to get to many of these places on your own, because even native Cracovians don't know them.
Great tour
Stephanie_D, Aug 2022
We had a lovely time with this krakow native who knew a lot about the history of the city, and we did learn a lot from him regarding the city, the camp and the ghetto. Recommend this tour!
Response from Host, Aug 2022
Hi Stephanie! Thank you for your kind word and appreciation of our favourite trip. Your guide Matthew always does his best to make this tour both a journey through World War II history and a combination of local community and life in the present. It doesn't get any better than this tour!
Surreal
Salvatore_S, Sep 2021
My bucket list continues to be filled. Plaszcow was in it. The site isn’t much for the eyes. Not much remained of the blown up site. The guide was awesome. It was surreal to be there. Schindler’s factory…I was not impressed. First, I would not have converted the factory into a museum. It takes away from the site. The same goes with Plaszcow. Do not build a museum there. You will over commercialize a beautiful nature area.
Response from Host, Sep 2021
Thank you for your feedback - we very much appreciate it! Great to hear that the tour satisfied you. We’d be delighted to welcome you to our services again during your next visit to Poland!
