See a hidden side of Borough Market and Southbank, where a dark history comes to life among the vibrant stalls and waterfront views. Explore the back streets where people have lived, thrived, thieved and died for more than 2000 years, and see where Charles Dickens gained most of his inspiration for his books. Experience the places where Shakespeare once walked, put on plays and even enjoyed a drink.

An excellent guided tour around Borough- an area we have visited many times without really knowing the hidden gems, literary connections or history. Stephen, our guide, was interesting and informative. The tour was well paced and thoroughly enjoyable. Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed learning so much about the area around Borough Market. Very informative and well worth the money. Will definitely book more guided walks in the future.
Fantastic tour with guide

I was very happy to find out on meeting the guide just near borough market that it was just going to me and the tour guide. He took me along for a fantastic walk and we saw some amazing places and learnt some great facts. He left me at the Tate modern which I explored for 2 hours. I would definitely recommend for the young and old.
