Located in a colonnade-fronted, early 20th-century County Hall building (the former headquarters for the Greater London Council), the SEA LIFE® London Aquarium is one of Europe’s aquatic museums with 14 themed zones. Marine-life displays include walk-over glass shark tanks, transparent tunnels where sea turtles swim overhead, and kaleidoscopic coral reefs. Visitors also love the penguin exhibit, where it’s possible to observe adorable orange-beaked gentoo penguins waddling on land and swimming gracefully underwater.

An American at the London Aquarium
Came with my kid in a stroller. Wasn’t told when I got in the line outside I needed to put the stroller/buggy elsewhere so I had to leave the line and then come back. Once in it was very easy to go through with the biggest issue being small windows to look through and too many kids looking. My kiddo would say no to them and walk away. No real places to stop and sit for the parents when walking throughout.

Day out with kids
We had a lovely time visiting to aquarium. The kids loved every single part of it. I would highly recommended.

Good for adults not so good for kids!!
All very enjoyable. One issue - given that a child of 4 has to pay pretty much full price it’s a shame a lot of the tanks are too high for them to see into.
