What To Expect

Greet your guide in Trafalgar Square and climb aboard your comfortable tour bus. Pop in your headphones and listen as your guide begins a captivating commentary of the city.

First, stop at the cathedral of St Paul’s to see Sir Christopher Wren’s architectural masterpiece. Gain insight into the sacred structure that dominates the London skyline, and hear tales of fiery destruction and romantic nuptials before venturing to your next stop.

Arrive at the Tower of London to explore the ancient fortress. Listen as Beefeaters regale you with stories of torture and treason, and visit the glittering Crown Jewels to admire 6,000-year old diamonds and gilded coronation crowns.

Before leaving, receive a ticket for a one-way River Thames sightseeing cruise, from the tower to Westminster Pier. Continue by coach to the stylish City of London, where you'll see the Bank of England and the impressive Mansion House.

On some dates, St Paul’s Cathedral is closed to the public. When the cathedral is closed, the stop will be substituted with a stop for photographs at St Paul's Cathedral and longer time spent at Tower of London instead.

  • You can choose to take the river cruise on another day and finish the tour at the Tower of London instead of Westminster Pier.
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 53 travelers

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

This tour was okay. The woman giving the tour was friendly enough, however, you could not hear her at times. Five years ago, I previously did the Tower of London and did a Beefeater tour, which was much more exciting and informative. The tour guidance of St. Paul's Cathedral was decent. However, this tour was lacking in the information that was given once you arrive at the tower.

I enjoyed this tour immensely. I found the tour guide especially knowledgeable and personable. She gave us interesting information while driving to the destinations as well as when we were at the sites. I found the St. Paul Cathedral portion of particular interest. Lastly, just a word about the bus itself. It was clean, comfortable, and expertly driven by the driver. No small feat in the streets of London!

Even in the rain it was a great tour. Transportation was current and very clean. Bus driver polite and attentive. Tour guide was a hoot! Lots of knowledge with bits of information you would not have learned in any book. Coming off a transatlantic flight with little to no sleep a great way to see London!

Amazing knowledgeable Tour Guide!

Our tour guid David was fabulous! The Tower of London was incredible! The bus was comfortable and a great way to get around London. The company was very professional. Don’t hesitate to book this tour. However, don’t book this on a Sunday because you miss 1/2 the tour since you can’t go in to St Paul’s with the tour guide (which is definitely clearly noted on the viator website).

Disappointing Tour

We started off delayed by 20 minutes or more due to traffic. Once we arrived at St Paul’s we had to rush through and there was not enough time to enjoy it properly. The tour guide was ok but seemed to be rushing us everywhere. She had a mic and we had headsets but we gave them back after St Paul’s. When we got to the Tower she guided us to the Crown Jewels but we could not hear anything she said. We were on our own from there which was fine. Was not worth the money. Would be better to buy your own tickets and navigate both St Paul’s and the Tower on your own which were both great places

Unexpected complication for our tour date...

Tour Company called to tell us St. Paul's was closing early, which meant no city sightseeing tour for us. They offered to reschedule or refund our money, but that wasn't an option for us as places sell out and we had other things planned for our final two days in London. So we met the group at St. Pauls and were dropped off at the Tower of London. While I don't fault anyone for St. Paul's closing early and our departure date causing conflict, I don't feel like we got our money's worth at all, and we had to be flexible to meet at an alternate location and give up a tour of the city.

Great way to spend a half day in London

The trip started with a bus tour in London with our tour guide narrating. Interesting facts abound. Then st Paul's cathedral with guide on radio is very impressive. Got drop off on the final leg at tower of london and thames boat ride for the finale. All in all a well Wirth trip and guide is great!

St Paul’s and Tower

Great way to see St Paul’s and Tower. Our guide Sheila was personable and knowledgeable and very funny! There was no skipping the line to see the Crown Jewels and the wait was an hour or more, so we didn’t get to see them which was disappointing. Appreciate being able to use the River voucher at a later date.

Our tour guide, Deborah made our tour one of the key highlights of our London visit. We were traveling with six 14 year old girls, and she kept them laughing and listening attentively the entire time. Tour great walk back to start not good

Our guide Shelia was fantastic. Enjoyed St. Paul's and the Tower of London. Seeing the lights from the river cruise was nice. The reason I only gave 4 stars is the drop off point. Even after the cruise it was a mile back to the starting location. The tours seem to think it's no problem but we were walking in the dark in a strange city. Very in convenient. You can get the tube or taxi back,but this adds additional cost to your outing.
