Eva is the Most Wonderful and engaging tour guide EVER!! We had such a great day at Dover Castle and Canterbury. highly recommend! And Jerome was an awesome driver-still don’t know how he’s able to navigate that bus so smoothly on those narrow English roads.

Guide was extremely friendly and explained history and what to expect while we traveled on the bus. At each stop, she offered to lead us to things we might was to do... such as underground tunnels at Castle and to the Cathedral in Canterbury. We had plenty of time at each stop. Excellent tour.

Great tour! It felt like almost the perfect amount of time for each place, although Dover Castle could be a whole day in and of itself. Everywhere that we went was beautiful and worth it!

I loved the Dover Castle tour, especially the hospital part! The tour guide was alright, I wouldn’t say awesome. She only gave us information while in the bus, not on-site. The bus was nice and clean.

It is normal for the guide to do most of the narration on the bus because at Dover it is important to get the group to the tunnels and in the line. As you will have seen it can get busy so that has to be the priority. At Canterbury too the guide is not allowed to guide inside the Cathedral but goes with you inside. Perfect day trip! A couple things to note, there is a lot of walking. Especially upstairs and steep hills. So give yourself some time.

Your guide was nice and helpful. Didn't do the tour with us left us to do on our own so no real info or historical stuff shared. And the amount of time at the cliffs was too short no way to walk it all and really experience it.

Hello Jacquie Thank you for your review and we are glad to hear the guide was nice and helpful. At Dover Castle the guides will first get the group to the war tunnels as these can be busy. They are not allowed to guide inside, that is done by English Heritage staff, and the rest of the castle is self-guiding. At the White Cliffs we stay there for 1 hour and walk along to the viewpoint. There isn't time to do the full walk as this would take 3 - 4 hours to go all the way to the end and see Fan Bay. If you do go there independently, it is a nice walk. Kind Regards Anderson Tours

Overly long tour with a young guide who never stopped talking. Got back to the tower station which was dark and not a place for solo older women. Fortunate to hail a cab. The sites were great; just too long in Canterbury getting us back at 7PM.
