What To Expect

Begin your morning or afternoon bike tour in central London, where you meet your guide and are fitted with a bike and helmet before setting off on an exciting city ride.

Over the next several hours, enjoy picturesque urban and pastoral views as your entertaining guide takes you past renowned landmarks and through London’s parks. Cruise through Westminster to the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. Your route leads directly past Westminster Abbey—the venue for every coronation since the 11th century and for 16 royal weddings—and then on to Trafalgar Square, where you stop to view Nelson’s Column and have lunch (own expense).

Afterward, pedal north to explore all four Royal Parks, view the stunning Buckingham Palace and visit the Princess Diana Memorial at nearby Kensington Palace. During each leg of the tour, you have a chance to pause, ask questions of your guide and snap some memorable photos.

We had a wonderful tour of the beautiful London Parks via Fat Tire Tours and our terrific guide, Paul. I highly recommend this to all. Great way to see London and get exercise. We met our guide near Queensway Station and Bayswater Ave. Bikes are well maintained and helmets are offered. Ages on our bike tour ranged from 20's to 60's. We saw Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park and St. James Park. Paul got us through the traffic and kept us together easily, but I would not really recommend for families with small children. We had several stops to take pictures and Paul was very informative on the history and stories of London and the sites. He truly made it a memorable time. It was a highlight of our stay in London!!

This was a great way to see the city. Definitely recommend the tour for anyone. It is not a challenging bike ride at all and suitable for most ages. We had two boys 11 and 13 and it was great. Our host Lincoln was fantastic!

Our leader, Emily, was great. She told fabulous stories (one was about Horatio Nelson) and had us act out the parts of history. I liked how she included the kids. It was so fun and my favorite part of the trip to London.

Franklin was my tour guide and I got a private tour because I was the only one in the group. You would think that would lead to an uncomfortable day. But it was quite the opposite. He was super knowledgeable and informative about history and fun facts and I had a great time just riding with him. we skipped lunch and did the trip in three hours which was perfect considering it was very cold and it rained throughout. Most of our ride. It was also cloudy and windy. The fact that he made it fun with all of that happening shows how good he is. The pace of the bike riding is very gentle.

A bit of exercise and lots of information. We saw horseguards assembled and the parade from the Changing of the Guards at Buckingham. The parks were beautiful. We heard so much history of Westminster Abbey, Parliament, the Royals. Great day !

Very little bike riding. We were asked to walk the bikes over 1/3 of the time and then we additionaly stopped every 5 minutes for the guide to tell a story.

Matt was brilliant! All 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 teens, loved hearing his entertaining stories about English history. Would definitely do again. The parks were such a nice break from the city and we enjoyed the snack break in Hyde park!

Ashton (or Ashley not sure) was a fantastic guide. We went on this tour because it was off the Roads more so and it went to the attractions we loved. We liked this one so much we booked another through another place in London because the only other tours Fat Tires does we didn’t feel comfortable with because we had our 11 and 12 year old girls with us. We felt this tour was much better than the Love London Tour. Much safe too.. we liked this one more because it hit all the tourist spots worth seeing but we also went through the parks and I love that. Loved the luck stop at Serpentine Lake in Hyde Park. You won’t be disappointed!
