What To Expect

Meet your local guide and small group of no more than eight people in London’s East End and set out on a walking tour of some of the city’s hippest neighborhoods. Immerse yourself in local life as you follow your guide around vibrant Shoreditch, and learn how the East End has transformed from the slums of Victorian London to one of the city’s coolest and most cosmopolitan districts.

Along the way, stop to admire the colorful graffiti and bold street art that brightens up many of the walls and building facades, and discover the legacy of London street artists like Eine, Shepard Fairey, and Banksy, who have all left their mark on the city.

As you stroll down the cobbled streets and laneways, hear tales of London’s most notorious serial killer, Jack the Ripper; the East End’s notorious gangsters; and unforgettable historical events. You’ll also get chance to browse the stalls of Spitalfields Market; stroll down Brick Lane, renowned for its curry houses; and perhaps even pick up some Cockney rhyming slang.

After 2.5 hours exploring the highlights, end your tour at Shoreditch High Street Station, where you can catch a train back to the city (own expense), or follow your guide’s recommendations and keep exploring independently.

An interesting and colourful afternoon

We really enjoyed the tour - the guide (Ivo) was friendly and was very passionate and knowledgeable about street art. It was an interesting couple of hours and fun hearing about the artists and the area. The street art was impressive.
