How Historical Women Spoke Without a Voice
Gwenn_L, May 2024
Finally, finally we are hearing about the women in history. And not just as an aside or as victims or as entitled companions. Shame on us for not recognizing valiant efforts during some terrible times by strong women. Thank you, Emily, for a delightful time.

I loved this tour. Beck was such a good tour guide we learned about significant women in history and how they changed life in London for the better and we visited places where these events took place I can’t wait to get home and research more about these amazing women
Riveting tour, revealing little-known gems of history.
Debashis_D, Jul 2023
Becky, our tour guide, was exceptional. She knew not only her material in great depth, but also answers to all of our questions. She included fascinating detail about how she sourced her information (as a true historian) and brought great passion—as well as a killer sense of humor—to her tour. I can't recommend her tour more highly. We were fully engaged the whole time. In fact, she set the bar so high, it has been hard to find another tour that can compare.

We ended up on what was basically a private tour with the most amazing guide, Becky! Highly recommend this tour if you want to learn about more than the traditional history of London :)

The way the history was told and directed, how we travelled through the time periods. Nods to women of all backgrounds
Informative & keeping the stories alive !!
Ariane_K, Oct 2022
Lady guide was great, very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful when posed with questions. I had never heard of Wash Houses & now I DO !!! 🤓. Nice to keep the female stories alive: their struggles and influences in shaping the future in London and the rest of the U.K., despite all the sadness and hardship in lives. Keep up the good work and thank you for an enjoyable tour, despite the light rain.
Highly recommended

This was an amazing tour, Becky our guide was so passionate and knowledgeable about women of the East End through various periods in history, we felt completely immersed. We ended the tour in Spitalfields, we were in awe of the regeneration of this area. After the tour we walked through the market and had dinner in fab restaurant, the perfect day!
A fab walking tour of the history behind East end working women.
Mel_R, Oct 2021
I treated my sister to this walk of the eastend. We grew up in the eastend. It was a really interesting walk, and we learned a lot about the working women of East London. Becky our tour guide was both really knowledgeable and passionate about relaying the history behind the East end. She was also really friendly too. We would highly recommend booking this walking tour.
A wonderful morning to be remembered.
