Start your intimate sunset dinner cruise by making your own way to Ma’alaea Harbor, where parking is available nearby. Head to the slip and board your double-decker catamaran to begin your journey.
Depart the harbor and take in the beautiful Maui coastline and witness the sun setting behind the picturesque island of Lanai.
Indulge in a delightful 3-course dinner featuring local specialties, with options like garlic rosemary roasted prime rib, fresh Mahi-Mahi, and more. Two alcoholic drinks are included to complement your evening.
Enjoy the soothing sounds of island-style music performed live by a local musician and keep an eye out for humpback whales, if sailing during the wintertime.
As the cruise concludes, return to Ma’alaea Harbor.

A:Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to departure. The boat sails on schedule, so please arrive early for check-in.

Q:What type of boat is used during the Sunset Dinner Cruise?
A:The Quicksilver is a state-of-the-art motorized catamaran. It was specifically designed for Maui’s weather and waves. The island winds add up throughout the day, which causes the water to be a bit frothy on our return trip. Our catamaran’s double-hulled design is largely above the wind chop. This allows the boat to avoid much of the rough water, and makes for a smoother ride.

We were upgraded to the bigger boat, the Calapyso. They had assigned seating for dinner and the food was very good. We had a Caesar salad to start, bbq rib dinner with rice and veggies. The ribs were very tender and tasty. Dessert was a choice of chocolate cake or cheesecake, both very good. Open bar with non-alcoholic and alcoholic options to include mixed drinks, wine and beer. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They educated us on surrounding islands and their history as well as looking for whales and dolphins. They played soothing Hawaiian music. It was a great evening with my husband and two teenage sons.

Good food. Was able to see a whale from afar. Rain weather made rough waters. Moving about the boat difficult. And no sunset. Staff was very good.

Sunset views! We didn’t travel far due to high winds. We were appreciative that the captain kept the boat in a spot so we could view the sunset.

Not a good experience for me at all. First, there was a mixup a bit what boat we we suppose to get on since they made a last minute decision to change our boat's name at the last minute aput us all on the same boat. Then, once on the boat we were seated next to a plastic window that scorched my face causing me to sweat and when one server went down the line to take orders, he decided to skip our table and cone back to us. We tried staying open minded being while vactioning "Black in America" but it wasn't until we were literally last to get served that we realized that we are not being traeted fairly. In addition to that, the food was horrible. We ordered chicken legs and thighs and got dry skinless breast chicken. We got setzer water instead of sprite and im not sure what kinda ale I had but it was not ginger ale. Im telling you the truth, the only reason I scored it the way I did is because one server (middle aged guy) was exceptionally, great. He was very attentive to all of our needs. He was kind, respectful and knows how to treat all customers. If not for him, I would have rated this experience a ZERO!
