Overview

Start your day off with an exciting adventure aboard this snorkel tour from Lahaina. Join a small group and set out onto the seas for a sail along Maui's west coast. Your captain chooses a location for the day, depending on weather conditions, for the chance to see green sea turtles and other aquatic species that hang around the coral reefs.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Steve and Nate are a fantastic crew! We got to snorkel and swim with turtles, and had a beautiful day of sailing. Very intimate experience and had a beautiful day aboard the scotch mist! I even got to helm the ship for a minute!! Won’t ever forget it. Thank you!!!! My family and I won’t ever forget this experience. Priceless.

This snorkel cruise was amazing! Captain skeeter and Laurie are laid back, funny, and kind. We made two stops to snorkel and saw so many turtles and uncountable fish! Would definitely book through them again!

Mahalo for the 4 out of 5 Stars. Let me respond to your comment. Our 4 hour Morning Snorkel Sail is NOT a "booze cruise" at that hour of the day. Our 50 foot monohull sailboat carries only 17 passengers for our family snorkel sails and also is not a 49 pax or 99 pax large catamaran vessel with its own on-board kitchen and serving locations. Our sailing trip does have its own "open bar" with complimentary wine, craft beers, juices and sodas BUT ONLY AFTER the in-water activities are completed for both safety and i9nsurance purposes as all responsible boating companies should be doing. Also our pricing is on the value end of the spectrum compared to other boating companies. Mahalo for traveling with us and sharing your review. Don Kidder, General Manager

AMAZING SAIL/SNORKEL

The captain and Zoe were awesome hosts! The trip was a ton of fun, especially for my first time on a sailboat and snorkeling. We had a small group on our boat and saw a ton of sea turtles and even a sleeping shark! The snacks were perfect and you can’t beat an open bar! Thank you so much!

The only tour you need to go on!!! It was like having our own private sailboat charter. Eric picked the best spot for us to go snorkeling. Listening to the whales communicate with each other was absolutely incredible. What a beautiful boat! Eric & Lauren were amazing & so accommodating! I was even able to have them order a gluten free lunch pack for me. Highly recommended. We had such a great time. Also, tip your crew! They work hard!

Steve and Nate were great hosts and both did a great job on the excursion. They both went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great time. We snorkeled in an area with a ton of fish and turtles. Highly recommend!

Fantastic snorkeling trip

We had a fantastic snorkeling trip with the crew on the Scotch Mist. Nate and Steve were absolutely phenomenal! They were both knowledgeable and very professional! We stopped to whale watch a bit before snorkeling and then headed to our spot. There were only a few boats there which was great. LOTS of turtles and beautiful fish and sharks to explore. The scuba divers were also cool to see below us. When we returned to the boat Steve and Nate were very courteous when we were getting on and off the boat (helping us with our gear and flippers). They always kept a watchful eye when all of us were in the water. During the whole boat ride, we were offered cold refreshments and after returning from snorkeling were provided with a delicious and plentiful lunch with turkey wraps, chips, cookies, and pineapple as well as some breakfast bars. After lunch, we went sailing for the remainder of the time which was awesome. We had a calm wind that day so it was perfect weather for a slow boat ride. There were three in our group on this sailing adventure and we all 100% recommend this crew and would book this again!

Fun but rough!

Nice guys. Food surprisingly good (little lunch packs). They were a bit too determined to 1) go four hours and 2) save fuel. As a result we did about 90 minutes of rough sailing. Pretty uncomfortable. Better to have anchored a second time.

Barb--the Morning Snorkel Sail is just that---a snorkel site for over 1 hour plus food and drink time and the balance is sailing, definitely NOT motoring. It is not a question of "saving fuel"---our very very small engine is used only for exiting and entering the harbor and our berth. Scotch Mist is NOT a power catamaran that raises a sail to look as if it is "sailing". That is Not our vessel---it is a real sailboat.. Glad you liked the crew and food and drinks. Please read the review of Casey and her family below--5 stars--and they were on the SAME Monday Morning Snorkel Sail with you. We just try our best---that is all that we can do. Mahalo!!! Sorry you only had a fair excursion. Must have been just a poor day--the exception on Maui. Normally there are not a lot of other boats at our snorkel sites, unless the channel was rough and the Lanai boats did not cross and came to the West Maui sites. Please try us again--maybe a 2 hr. Adventure Sail or the unlimited Champagne Sunset Sail--always beautiful on Maui. Don Kidder, General Manager

We were booked to this sail, however when we came they told us that they don’t have our reservation on the list and that they don’t have enough space for us on the boat. Was very disappointed because we planned the trip ahead of time and it ruined our morning. No trip replacement or any apologies were received.
