Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Gustavo was our tour guide and did a great job with teaching us how to use the ATV and a bit of the Medellin culture. stopping at waterfall and enjoying the views were amazing, and riding the ATV's were thrilling.

ATV mountain tour with great guides and machines

The ATV tour is was pretty good. The quads were stout and fun to ride. The tour is pretty close to Medellín so you don't have to go far. The guides are very friendly and we loved that. However, one thing I'd recommend, and one thing for customers to know- 1 - I'd recommend the company offering a skill level to gauge people's experience. My friend and I would have loved to rip it more. 2- the tour is advertised as 5 hours, so we'd assumed we'd be ATVing for 3-4 since it was close to Medellín. But there is only about 1.5 hours of ride time, including 20 minutes of practice laps on the property. It was still very fun, but for customers I'd say the tour is better for beginners. The views are fantastic and the route taken is really nice, but it felt shorter than expected - which would be great for new riders or individuals who like to take it easy. All in all, a really great tour.

Juliana and Martin were awesome guides , riding was easy but coloring the jungles were fun, fruits were so fresh and waterfall was rejuvenating . Will recommend !

We had a blast riding through the mountains on the 4-wheelers!!! We got picked up at the destination spot on time. Once we arrived at our tour spot, our guides took time to explain how to use the ATV since we had some newbies in our group. I would suggest bringing a snack/food since the tour is a few hours long. We were provided with some delicious fruit snacks but were pretty hungry once we returned home. Also, I would suggest bringing a change of clothes. We didn't get completely dirty, but the trails had a lot of dirt and some mud and we didn't want to ride back home dirty. There are showers on site to use. They provide lockers for personal items as well as helmets and boots so your shoes don't get dirty. I wouldn't recommend bringing your phone on this tour unless you have something to keep it in and protect it from getting dirty. The guide did take "action" pictures of us with his camera (free of charge for pictures) and he also took some photos with the phone we brought. Overall, we had a great time and would book this tour again! Big thanks to our guides and drivers :)

The tour was great. Jayjay communicates very well, gives you a quick tutorial on how to use the quads. Also provided ponchos and boots for rain. Also fun stops throughout the ride. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Good time but wish they’d let you ride more and with less stopping

The property they take you to is very nice. 45-60 minute drive from the pick-up spot. The actual ATV time is less than an hour and the guide led the way and stopped every few turns to make sure the group wasn’t going too fast and was staying together. Every time we started cruising he stopped and waited for everyone which killed the groove. Ok experience but a bit of a letdown on the actual ATV riding

Shortened version: My group of 2 visited from the United States and do not speak Spanish (sadly) - we had so much fun!!! It is more of an adventure ride vs a tour so do not expect much talking throughout the ride. There was downtime to chit chat by the waterfall for about 20 minutes. You will get TONS of photos!! You don't even have to worry about taking any of your own - they get sent to you right away too so there's no wait time. Shoutout to Gustavo for being the best photographer 😊 Full version: It was about a 45 minute car ride to the destination from the city, and we were met by Gustavo and a driver - I would like to make a suggestion to have the tour guide state their name in the intro WhatsApp message. I did feel a wee bit uneasy getting into the car, but we were met at the correct meet up spot on time so it all worked out! There was a bit of a hiccup when we arrived because there were no quads readily available for us to start our ride because the other group was still on their ride. We did get to see the horse in the stable and offered drinks while we waited though! There were also bathrooms on-site. The ATV riding part of the experience was a 5/5 - I went with my fiance, and we were lucky enough to be the only two on the tour. Gustavo was super friendly and welcoming - there was a cute language barrier between us, but we made it work! The quads were easy to drive. Took some practice but once I got comfortable, I only wanted to go faster!! There was some steep and rocky parts of the tour, but it was all very safe. The hike down and back up to the waterfall was about medium 6/10 difficulty. It was super cool learning about the Colombian fruits and seeing exotic butterflies.

One of Best ATV Experiences

This was one of the best ATV experiences I have been on and just to clarify I have done ATVing in Aruba, Mexico, Bahamas and this highly recommended. The staff was friendly and we had an asking time through training , driving and hiking some. I would bring anyone back to here when traveling back to Medellin. Make sure you book this! We took plenty of photos and videos

This was a great opportunity we took a nice walk through the forest and saw a nice waterfall and yes a tarantula. Our guid also had to cut down 2 different trees so we can continue on our route. Ohh... this trip was authentic and fun. Well worth it.

Be Ready To Pay More

The even itself was great. The company in charge had an error on the price and told me I had to pay more money because they had the wrong price on the I sterner. They said I can either pay them 50usd more or not go on the trio or cancel and rebook by paying 50usd more or cancel and pay them cash under the table so Trip Advisor makes no money. I canceled and paid the extra amount and then reported them to trio advisor for unethical business practices. Trip Advisor said it is a violation of their contract to do this and that it is unprofessional for them to charge more. Trip Advisor paid me back for the difference so all is good now. This is why I book with a company who protects their customers. Great job Trip Advisor.

Hello! Thanks for the review and for allowing us to clear this up. So, TripAdvisor has recently made some major changes, (positive ones), that have made us decide to finally allow them to sell our tours. (Up until this point we did not as commissions were too high, making our tours appear too expensive) THE MOMENT we received your reservation, our dedicated team sent multiple emails to trip advisor explaining the issue, Finally, after not receiving a reply from Viator in time, we sent a direct communication to you explaining that yes, for some reason, the tour was sold at basically 75% of the actual cost of the tour, and we would either refund 100% of the money paid, or we would need to collect the other 25% to operate the tour. As we are not a large company by any means it is impossible to operate a tour for less than it costs (and as you saw the tour has GREAT value for the money) We did explore many options to accommodate you, including offering to accept the extra 25% in cash the morning of the tour. You decided to rebook through TripAdvisor, and thankfully, you were able to go on the tour- and had the great experience we all wanted you to. We are SUPER PROUD, you all had a great time, and are glad to inform you that through this little incident, Viatour has contacted us and we have resolved the issue so that future travelers do not have the same inconvenience that you did. Again, thanks for the review, and for allowing us to clear this up! As you can see by our many, many, many reviews under our TripAdvisor profile (2000m descent and more) this was an isolated incident, and I’d like future travelers to realize that IF there is ever an issue with our clients- they can see the extent of how we solve it. Our mission is to show the world just how beautiful Colombia is through Adventure and Adrenaline! ...and again we are SUPER PROUD, that although this time was a bit of a challenge.. the tour was a success!
