After viewing the painting, you have time to talk with your guide about its history, the unusual painting methods that Leonardo used, and how it became a cultural touchstone worldwide. There was little to do beyond just viewing this famous work for a few minutes before being ushered out of the rectory. As it turned out, we had originally scheduled this tour of AM but aviator unilaterally rescheduled for late afternoon of the same day, which we could not make. All in all, a disgraceful performance by aviator.

I did not make the tour. I did not accept the morning tour. I didn’t see that it had changed until it was too late to cancel. I received the email at 21:30 on Monday night, the 9th & immediately replied that I could NOT make the morning as I wasn’t in Milan until noon. Then I received an email at 16:00 that I could go on my own until 18:30. At that time we were back in our hotel and couldn’t make it at that time either. I saw the email that the ticket had been charged but didn’t notice another email that the time had changed or I would have canceled immediately. I am not happy that the time changed so drastically. For such a drastic change a text would have been better to notify me. I doubt I will use Viator again for any of my arrangements.

Seeing The Last Supper in person was awesome. The guide was very good, offering a wealth of information about details of the painting, such as what DaVinci was trying to convey about the body language of each of the disciples.

Nothing memorable. Our first flight was delayed so we missed our flight to Milan. Had to come in that evening so missed the tour. Tour operator said they couldn't refund our money. So no good review.

Cancelled without any explanation or offer to help

This tour was cancelled last minute. I booked this 5 months in advance and got an email cancelling from the tour operator. There was absolutely no assistance in offering a new tour guide, explanation or any communication with Viator directly. I have used Viator many times in the past and this is the first time this has happened and I am very disappointed. We only had 2 days in Milan and I explained that and there was no offer for tickets during our stay. Once the cancellation was made and I replied we could not accept the new date offered, which was 4 or 5 days later, there was no more communication. Again, I booked in plenty of time as I knew this was a sold out event.

A scam

We thought we were purchasing a ticket with a private tour guide as shown on VIATOR. It was a classic bait and switch scam. We were met by a person who carried a card with our name on it. Suddenly, we were shuffled into a group of 30 people with a different guide in order to enter the room withThe Last Supper. This guide added little value. Huge disappointment, we are going to ask VIATOR for a refund.
