Milan Duomo Tours and Tickets

13,775 reviews

Offering the most exuberant example of Northern Gothic architecture in Italy, the spiky spires and towers of Milan's Duomo (Duomo di Milano) dominate Piazza del Duomo, the city's beating heart. One of the highlights of a visit to the cathedral is the view from the roof, where you can scope out Milan from the highest terrace surrounded by statues. On a clear day, it’s possible to see the Italian Alps.

What are people saying about Milan Duomo

Excellent tour of this beautiful Duomo.
We were blown away by the Milan Duomo. The tour includes going on the rooftop. Our guide was knowledgable and did a great job pointing out many of the details found throughout this historic church.

Walking through the Duomo is of course possible, but the tour provides another level of information you can't just see
When I booked this tour a month before I was concerned about the cost, but our tour guide, Lorella Baroncelli was excellent. Knowledgeable, professional and well versed in several languages she made the tour extremely interesting. One fact that was surprising is the Duomo gets absolutely no funding from the Vatican. The Milan Duomo is a private entity and the ongoing renovations, which are extensive are funded by private donors.

Great event
More than I expected. For many reasons, excursions post-COVID have been such a letdown. This was not. Our guide was the best I have had post-COVID. She did an excellent job making her stories come alive. The Last Supper painting was far more moving and much larger than I expected. This was a great day.

Milan Duomo Rooftop and interior SUPER
Luigi was a superb guide. Always aware of our group, concern for our safety, and very knowledgeable about the Duomo history and current work to refurbish the facade. Easy walk, lift up to top, and a stone spiral staircase down many flights to the Duomo interior.
