The whole tour was amazing. The guides were absolutely the best from the moment we got into the car. We can only recommend this tour

The non-profit teachers were knowledgeable, made us feel safe and comfortable. The tour is a walking tour for 3 hours so please keep that in mind.
Really comprehensive tour of Kibera - safe and good experience
        Noah_S, Aug 2023
Wonderful tour. Kibera in an incredible place and you really need a good guide to understand the complexities. The work you support with this company is important to the locals as well. Very informative and they can really customize the tour to your needs.

Most interesting thing to do in Kenya
        barwell92, Jul 2023
I did this tour solo initially as a way to kill half a day in Nairobi and this became the highlight of my trip. Benta took me on a walk through the slums and to her primary school in what was a truly educational, shocking and humbling exoerience. Seeing residents with so little remain happy and willing to work for their community is at first hard to comprehend, and leaves you both happy and sad. I truly learnt so much from someone who grew up in and experienes Kibera daily. I cant thank Benta enough for the time she spent showing me her home and work place, sharing her story and that of others will stay with me for a long time. For anyone in Nairobi, I would truly confider booking tickrrd

Good experience to get to see Kibera by foot. We got picked up at our place and dropped off there as well. We were two people and had two tour guides with us the whole time. We felt very safe during the entire walk and it was great to get to see Kibera through the eyes of the locals. At the end of the walk we got to visit the seed school and see the good work that they do there.
        an inspiring visit

an inspiring and memorable trip to understand the struggles of the slum community and how education provided by the community gives hopes to the children there. Defeinitely worth a visit!
        Perfekt tour.

I really recommend people to apply for the tour. You will face the reality of the people in the slums that you should know. Brian was a great guide explaining the history and stories of all sites and answering all questions I raised.
        Seeing the slum in REAL
        amy_l, Jul 2022
I had a guided walk in the slum for ~2 hours with Padox and Brian from the Seed Foundation. No specially planned activities (except for a dance by the teacher and some students from Seed Foundation's school), but a genuine walk through of the community. Brian is a teacher in Seed Foundation's school, and one can tell he has very strong bonding with the community and his students. I have learnt so much about the history of and daily lives in the slum. A highly recommended tour if you want to have a more in-depth understanding of the country beyond the safaris.
Off the beaten path informative experience

This was a wonderful experience, we learned so much! Our guide we’re very friendly and, we loved visiting the seed school where the children gave us a special performance, and our daughter got to hang with some of the other children, a very special experience
Excellent thing to do when visiting Nairobi - don't miss out!
        TianXiang_L, Dec 2021
Nothing to fear when in the hands of Padox - he picked us up from our hotel in Nairobi and guided us around Kibera and we felt safe the whole time. He explained the history of the area, current living conditions, his own story and how and why he started his foundation. Be sure to check out SEED Foundation and School. If you're visiting, would be worthwhile setting aside a few hours to go on an early morning tour with Padox - you'll get to visit his school and the children who attend. They put on a great show for us - very talented dancers. If you do visit, try to bring useful treats for them - we brought notebooks and pens (not sure if they were enough) - but hopefully useful! The kids we met ranged from around 7 - 15 in age and loved music and dancing - so anything cool from your home country you could bring to share with them would be great! Cool dance clothes, accessories, music - anything to help with their creativity. We did feel a bit apprehensive at first, but once you meet Padox and we also met Brian (one of the school teachers who also guided us) - nothing to fear - noone bothered us and everyone was very friendly. Truly eye-opening and please visit if you can!! Thank you Padox and Brian and SEED school for having us as your guests!! We will keep in touch and looking forward to the launch of your website!
        Great!

Great cause and experience with excellent guides! Thank you! Would recommend everyone to do it!!!!!!
        Very good, a must see
        Florian_N, Jun 2020
It was really perfect and felt very save, even if I was alone. If you want a really genuine experience book the tour. There wasn't any point where I felt wrong and I glad I did even if originally thought it would be a bit unfriendly to the people who live in kibera to do a "slum tour". In the end everybody was nice to me and I don't want to miss the things I have experienced there.
        Esperienza indimenticabile
        Marco_L, Aug 2023
