We can pick you up at any hotel, port, airport or railway station in the Naples area. Different pick you times may apply. At the port, your driver will be waiting for you just outside of the cruise terminal where taxi and drivers are allowed to wait holding a sign with your name on it. For airports, drivers wait inside the terminal of arrival of your airport, holding a sign with your name on it. When coming by train, your driver will be waiting for you just down the track of your train, holding a sign with your name on it.

What To Expect

Disembark your cruise ship and look for your guide—he'll be holding a sign with your party's name on it. Climb aboard your comfortable tour vehicle and set off for the Amalfi Coast. On the way, you can discuss the interests and preferences of your group. Let your guide know if there are any destinations you are particularly interested in.

In Positano, your driver will drop you off in the pedestrian area to explore on your own. Amble down the picturesque streets and duck in to the many shops and cafés. Next, head for Sorrento, Amalfi or Ravello: It's up to you. Your flexible and informative guide can help you decide your itinerary. See dramatic coastal views you'll get from the road and get back to Naples on time for your cruise ship's departure.

It was an excellent tour! The driver was lots of fun, informative, patient and a very good driver. He had great suggestions for shopping, how to get to beach and lunch suggestion. Would highly recommend.

Enchanting Positano and Sorento ; A Spectacular Driving Tour Experience

Recently, I had the privilege of embarking on an awe-inspiring driving tour around the breathtaking coastal town of Positano, Italy. This tour, led by the exceptional guide, Sal, was an unforgettable journey that beautifully encapsulated the essence and splendor of the Amalfi Coast. Moreover, his driving skills along the narrow, cliff-hugging roads were impeccable, instilling a sense of safety and comfort throughout the journey. Best Guide for the Amalfi Coast!

Our guide - Antonio was the BEST! His knowledge of the Amalfi Coast was on point. He was extremally personable and flexible with the schedule - keeping us on time to get back to the cruise ship. We would have loved for the day to last longer - but with a short time in port - he made sure we saw the most import sights to make our day at the Amalfi Coast memorable. We highly recommend this tour and defiantly ask for Antonio - Mamma Mia!

Small group tour to Amalfi

The tour itself was beautiful however it was dominated by one of the guests who had a private conversation with the driver in the front of our van. We were seated in the back and couldn’t hear him. The driver could have been more attentive to the needs of the group not only one person who directed the activities of the day,

Amalfi cost line tour. Not Amalfi Town. Great driver and tour guide!

Please note - this excursion does NOT go into Amalfi town! Should be called “Amalfi coastline excursion.” We stopped at 2-3 side of road photo opt pit stops. This was along the way to Positano Town (1.0hr stop to freely roam). Then went to Sorrento Town (2.0hr stop to freely roam). Even though the itinerary said pass by Amalfi and Ravello, we did not. Positive: Driver and guide was great and experienced with the winding roads! It was semi private with 2 other couples. Pick up was right at the ship dock. Drop off was good timing. Plenty of time to roam the two small towns. Great views along the driving route!

Amazing day touring Amalfi with Adriano!

Our driver Adriano was amazing! He was prompt picking us up at the port of Naples. He took us to Sorrento and Positano which were beautiful. He was an excellent driver and kept us entertained along the way. I then requested to eat pizza in Naples and he took us to a local place where he eats with his family. We had an amazing day with Adriano, do yourself a favor and ask for him when booking in the Naples area!

DISAPPOINTING. We wanted to stop along the coast for photos as it turned out to be a beautiful day and see three different towns like was advertised. Our guide was Salvatore who was both friendly and knowledgeable, yet our tour of six adults only included one stop where he took photos of us in front of the water (no coastline) and 1 hr. at Positano and 2 hrs. in Sorrento. When I showed him the itinerary of also choosing either Ravello or Amalfi, he replied, "They can say you can see five towns, but we only have time for these two." False advertising?

Salvatore is our best driver, and he tries to accomodate all our guests requests. We always recommend to visit no more than two towns on the Amalfi Coast among those listed, because from our experience, it is not a really enjoyable day to tour 3 or even 4 towns on the Amalfi Coast during a 7h tour, having often cruiseships with a tight schedule. Salvatore never said to you that our tour is false adversting. He only explained that seeing all 3 or 4 towns would have meant staying approximately 15 or 30 minutes max in each town. These agreements on the itinerary need to be made in the morning while leaving the port with the rest of the group. We remind you that this is not a private tour, and the success of the day often depends by the group agreeing to the itinerary and getting along with one another. That day, Salvatore explained to the rest of the group how the tour would have been if going to Amalfi and Ravello in addition to Positano and Sorrento, and the majority of the group would not prefer to see everything in a rush, but just two towns with enough time to relax, shopping and eating. Unfortunately we could not ignore what the majority of a group of guests wants to do. We hope next time we can be given another chance to prove you that we are definotely not worth 2**, but much more. Thanks so much for your time and for choosing Touring Italy. The Amalfi Coast is beautiful and Antonio took us to Amalfi and Ravello which we requested. He was a very good driver but not a guide as English was difficult for him. We didn’t expect him to come into the towns with us but did expect information as we were driving along and he wasn’t able to provide that

Your title should be NOT an Amalfi Shore excursion

We were a group of 4 and chose this tour specifically to see the Amalfi coast. Unfortunately we only made it to Sorrento and then we were left there for 3 hours on our own. There was almost no information given on the ride so it was just a very expensive cab ride from Naples to Sorrento. We stopped twice for quick pictures along the way and also briefly at a limoncello factory/store. The overview and title state Amalfi Coast - didn’t see any of it. Description states driver and guide included - no guide just driver. Also says stops can include Sorrento, Amalfi, Ravello and Positano - only saw Sorrento. The driver said it was impossible to get from Naples to Amalfi and back in 7 hours. We could have taken a water taxi from Naples to Sorrento for a third of the price if that was all we wanted. Only good thing about this day was the restaurant recommendation.

You were on your way to Positano in the morning, but it took too long to get there, and apparently everyone in the group preferred to stop in Sorrento only to have more time. Perfect day for a cruise port!

Salvatore (Sal) was our driver and he was brilliant! We left slightly before our meeting time due to everyone showing up early. We were driven to Positano where we had about an hour to walk around, shop, and take the most picturesque photos! We then drove to Sorrento where we had roughly 2 hours to do the same. In Sorrento, we ate a Carrazola(?) where I had Ravioi Caprese that was mouth watering. My husband opted for pizza, because Naples! Please note - we were the ONLY cruise ship in port that day so traffic was a non issue for us. Sometimes there are 4-5 cruise ships in port at once (per our driver) and that clearly matters for the traffic. We arrived back with plenty of time to spare and it was a PERFECT stress free day. Didn't get to the places we wanted to. Tour was scheduled on a weekend and the local people flock to the beaches making traffic a nightmare according to our guide. Overall, what we did see was very nice.

Also, the driver had asked in the morning, while leaving the port, if anyone had any specific request about the itinerary, but apparently no one expressed a specific request and everyone accepted the suggestions of the driver, who considering the traffic, had recommended to visit Amalfi and Ravello. We had been reported that this way you did not encounter any traffic and you were able to enjoy a good amount of free time in both towns (over an 1h/1.5h each).
