What To Expect

Your morning starts with pickup from the Stazione Marittima at the Port of Naples or a select hotel by air-conditioned bus. Catch views of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius on the drive to Positano.

On arrival in Positano, the bus drops you off for one hour of free time. Explore the narrow lanes and artisan shops at your own pace.

Next, head to Amalfi for about 85 minutes of free time. Here, you can visit the Amalfi Cathedral and take a dip in the sea.

Then, visit Ravello, a resort town above the coast known for cliffside villas and gardens. With your free time here, you can catch some of the best views of the Amalfi Coast from the terraces of Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone.

Finish the day with drop-off at your hotel or the Port of Naples of the alternative meeting point.

Great tour guide!

Manfreddie was a great tour guide, he gave great information throughout the tour, was very engaging, but not overwhelming like some tour guides. He was easy to have a casual conversation with, and gave great recommendations. Sara was an impressive driver, considering how challenging it is to drive along those difficult conditions. They truly made the tour - admittedly we didn’t love Positano or Amalfi - they felt like big tourist traps, without authentic experiences. This is not the fault of the tour or guides though, this is just isn’t our style of travel. Ravello was a highlight though, much calmer and better shopping.

Fabulous scenery. Mario was a most careful, entertaining driver. Lunch in Amalfi was a great experience and the drive back across the mountains gave us a view of Vesuvius from another direction.

The scenery was beautiful but we spent most of the day in the van sitting in traffic. Our times visiting the towns had to be shortened and the towns were so crowded with tourists.

Great Tour!

Manfredi was a great guide. Stories full of history and entertaining. Alfredo was the best driver on those roads hugging the edges! Not for those that get carsick or afraid of heights as we steadily climb up the mountain area. Wish the weather was better as it was cloudy and rainy at times but the views were still priceless! Loved Positano and Amalfi. Not much to see in Ravello.

We had a very interesting tour. Manfredi was a terrific guide because he gave us a lot of information not only historical. He is a polite person very friendly and very organised on everything. Sara also drove us so carefully and I have to thank her one more time because she was dealing successfully thru the traffic jam and parking difficulties. Beautiful places. My wife and I (nearing 70) loved it. Manfredi was very knowledgeable and exceptionally gracious. There was no pressure to do or see this or that. We were relaxed and just tried to take it all in. My favorite town was Ravello, with its refined milieu and classical concert mini-villa. Breathtaking view of the stair-step terrain of Scala and surrounding countryside.

Good tour to get both a guided and free time

Great tour and Antonio was a fantastic guide. This isn't a full guided tour so you have free time to do some things in your own, with a bit of guidance. It's a good mix to get both. Antonio have us good insights and direction on what to do on our own as well. The amount of time allotted is very good. You get to see a lot in a short period of time. The included lunch is ok, nothing great, but that's not why we booked this. Overall good tour and easy to manage.

Had a very well organized tour planned from Naples. Our driver arrived on time, gave us ample time and guidance to explore each of the three towns Positano, Amalfi and Ravello, and brought us back exactly on time. On the way, he explained the views, stopped briefly for snapshots and provided with a very satisfying experience!!

We booked this tour after a recommendation from a friend and we were really happy about our choice. The tour company was very professional. We mistakenly went to a different meeting point and a tour guide from another day tour, informed our guide who picked us up just on time. Our tour guide was perfect! He was very knowledgeable, with a sense of humor and very good and safe driver. The mini bus was new with air-condition and wifi. We had one hour free time in Positano and 1.5 hour in Amalfi and Ravello. Luca also stopped us in two other places to enjoy the view of the amalfi coast. I totally recommend this group tour.

The views and the drive to visit the 3 towns. Positano was out least favourite, but Almalfi and Ravello were beautiful especially Ravello. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly and spoke both Spanish and English, this was great for our Colombian-British family.

A beautiful tour by wonderful people

We had a wonderful trip to the Amalfi Coast. The vehicle that picked us up was modern and had air con which was lovely, the tour group size was about 18 people so you don’t feel like you’re just being ferried around like sheep. Our tour guide Luigi was funny and informative throughout and the driver Francesco navigated the narrow, twisting coastal roads smoothly and with ease which made the travel between towns enjoyable. We were given approx 1hr in Positano, 1hr 40 in Amalfi and 45 mins in Revello, which seemed to be ample for each location. I would recommend if you want to see more of Amalfi to get street food as opposed to a sit-down lunch as you’ll lose valuable exploring time! Overall I think it was good value for money. It saved the hassle of navigating public transport options from Naples to the Amalfi Coast. I did research this option before booking this tour, and it didn’t seem possible to visit all three towns in one day without a tour / private car service / car rental so definitely recommend this option!
