Government, Religion and Puchinello

The view of all the churches. Also, I learned that church maintenance is basically funded by the government. Finally, I learned the importance of figurines and superstition to Neopolitans. (ie, Puchinello)

Nunzia was a really nice lady and she did a wonderful job of communicating prior to the date of the tour to get preferences, setting expectations, etc. The tour itself could have been better, however -- it was a lot of walking and not a lot of discussion of history and unique aspects what wew were seeing. There was only 4 of us on the tour, so stopping and speaking about certain points of interest would not have been difficult. I've done numerous similar walking tours in other cities -- Sorrento, Savannah, Boston, and other cities around the world, and the experience was better.

a very interesting experience

A very interesting and efficient tour. Our amazing guide (Angela) took us on the underground to the town centre, and then on the cable-car to see the wonderful views. We then slowly walked down and stopped at various tourist attractions along the way. It was a great three hours!
