What To Expect

Discover the art of Neapolitan pizza from an authentic master pizza maker at a historic pizzeria in the city, just a few hundred meters from one of the world's most beautiful waterfronts. A pizzeria awarded as a World Champion in 2017.
Learn the precise proportions, kneading methods and rising times needed to achieve that characteristic Neapolitan crust: thin and soft, work the dough to perfection under the guidance of an experienced master pizza maker.
In small groups and at your individual station you will make the dough, and learn the ancient technique of "staglio" to make your own "panetti" then you will move next to the wood-fired oven and as a pizzaiolo you will roll out and season your Pizza Margherita and place it on the pizza peel, ready to be put in the oven
As your pizza is ready watch the pizzaiolo while he will prepare for you another "Iconic" pizza of Naples: the fried pizza filled with ricotta and salami.
Can you smell the aroma of San Marzano tomatoes, see the bright color of basil? Now all you have to do is to eat the pizza you made, drinking a good glass of red wine or an Italian craft beer with old and new friends in a convivial atmosphere.

We will conclude tosting with a good limoncello.

Everyone involved in the experience was warm and friendly. We were the only ones at the pizza class mostly because we travel during the off season. Our pizza was wonderful and we plan on making it again at home, I even ordered a pizza stone.

Lucia was our hostess and very personable. Luigi was our chef and he was loads of fun to work with. We had a blast with them both and would definitely recommend this activity for a fine night in Napoli.

Lovely experience in an award winning pizzeria. Learned what we needed to know to make them at home and tons of fun in the process. Pizza was delicious and nice to have a little wine and limoncello in the process. All in all a great way to spend 2 hours. Very cool neighborhood as well.

The whole experience was very memorable. I made my crust too thin in the center and thicker on the outsides, my partner somehow accidentally made hers square. The chef Maricio helped us fix our mistakes before showing us the perfect proportions for a delicious Margherita pizza!

Whatever you do….. DO NOT GO TO NAPLES without taking this Pizza Making Class! IT IS OUTSTANDING!!! The class instructors/restaurant owners teach the class with so much energy and enthusiasm! We learned pizza history, new recipes, and 1-on-1 instruction to get the softest and most pillowy dough plus, the best tasting, sauce that requires a special type of tomato! You might think you know how to makyiołoe a pizza: but after 20 minutes you’ll be using a tried and true recipe that’s hundreds of years old whilst getting hands-on instruction from Naples’ BEST pizza maker! Seeing him in action is amazing and getting tips and tricks from him is something you’ll cherish because you will not get this instruction anywhere else in the world!!! When it’s time to cook your pizza, the real excitement begins and you have to see it to believe it!! In minutes you have your pizza in hand and are headed to the table to eat dinner you made with your new friends and classmates! My only regret, is not being able to take some of my pizza to go! Hahaha The proof I made a real Margarita Pizza in the home of the OG pizza will have to be seen in photos!

We loved this experience while in Naples. And it really upped our pizza game. Well organized, informative, and the guide/chef are really friendly. We were hesitant due to the cost, but in hindsight would do it again.
