Fantastic Food Tour

We had a great afternoon with Roberto. He was an excellent host that shared a warm and engaging insider’s perspective of Italy and we appreciated the dedicated personalized experience. We did not expect to be eating AS much as we did, so I do recommend scheduling to coordinate as your lunch or dinner. Even more memorable than the delicious food were the stories and personal touch. We highly recommend this tour if you have time in Naples.

We had an amazing afternoon with Gennaro learning about Naples and trying all the best food! Highly recommend this tour. Plenty of time for sightseeing and plenty of food. Come hungry and be prepared to eat well! We tried all of the major staple dishes, including cuoppa di mare, mozzarella di buffula, taralli, pizza, and pizza fritta, plus coffee, desserts, and spritzes. This is a great tour for the afternoon to learn about the city from a passionate local guide who is excited to teach you more about Naples. You will get familiar with the city and have plenty of time to roam the streets for shopping and see the famous Spacca Napoli. Cannot recommend this enough! Thank you so much Gennaro for a wonderful afternoon!!!

Gianpaolo was a great tour guide For the best on central Naples and the best history of the old and new parts of the city. We sampled some great bites so definitely go hungry and prepare to walk a bit! Overall this is a great introduction to a city and pizza and pasta lovers can’t go wrong 😊 Thank you fora great tour!

We had a fantastic walking/tasting tour with Mariarosaria. She was very knowledgeable and introduced us to delicious and unique foods! It seemed really tailored to us since she gave us different choices and we were able to choose foods that we wanted to try. We also enjoyed exploring different parts of Naples from Vomera to the Spanish quarter and learning all about the city. Highly recommend!

This was one of the best experiences we have ever had in exploring a city. The guide gave us such rich information about the city's history and food and culture it really brought the whole city to life for us. Our guide was absolutely amazing and had a great way of ensuring the kids (including a teenager) were engaged in the whole tour. We absolutely loved it!

This exceeded all expectations! Our guide, Paola, was amazing! She reached out prior to the trip to see if the typical starting point would work for us, as it included over 400 steps. We have back and knee issues so changing the starting point was a game changer! We got to try food that we never would have found otherwise, at non-touristy locations! She was flexible and really tailored the whole tour to what we wanted to try and see. We also learned some cool history about Naples and felt like we had made a new friend by the end. This was the true definition of a private tour!

This is just as much an opportunity to learn about the town and it’s rich history as it is an opportunity to try lots of hidden gems of places to eat. Our guide was fantastic. He moved at our pace. He even ordered extras of things we loved. The pizza and ragu we tried was phenomenal. Literally nothing we’ve ever tried in the US - even the finest restaurants and family owned joints came close. A nice mix of food, drinks and desert. If you’re visiting Naples for the first time, this is a no brainer 3-hour experience. I ate so much I skipped dinner.

Our food tour of Naples, Italy with our Withlocals guide Mariarosaria was fantastic. We had just arrived in the city and she helped us get our logistical bearings as well as turning us on to the local culinary treats! Our favorites were the pasta Genovese and the Rum Baba!!! Absolutely to die for and we probably wouldn’t have tried them on our own. Mariarosaria is a native of Naples and her knowledge of the city was vast. Not only was it a culinary delight but a sound education on this diverse city’s history. We highly recommend this Withlocals tour and especially Mariarosaria!! Grazie!!!!🇮🇹

Armando was a fabulous guide, extremely knowledgeable about the area. As a well-educated native he could explain the complexity of the blended culture and its effects on the culinary scene . Food was varied and local. Off the beaten paths yet close to everything. He even helped us grocery shop at the e end of the tour!
