I love this tour! Thank you so much to our tour guides, Giulio and Neal! I find the printed picture book/placards that Giulio showed during the tour to be very helpful. Because instead of using our imagination, the book/placards helped with visualising the surroundings! Also, I’ve not cycled for the past two years and I decided to do a bicycle tour on the very steep hills of Naples. As a result, I fell a few times and I’m completely sunburnt and bruised all over my body. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed the trip because I got to learn more about the volcanoes in the area, the history in the areas and the view is absolutely breathtaking. And the food at the vineyard was absolutely delicious. I really enjoyed myself despite the injuries! Lastly, I was so lucky that a Dutch mother-and-daughter duo was part of the tour. The Dutch mother was so kind and advised me which gear to use throughout the tour, and both of them have taught me the “Dutch” way of cycling! Highly recommend to take this tour even though you might be inexperienced in cycling. To be honest, the whole experience (including the falling) was awesome and I really enjoyed it!

9 ladies on ‘special birthday’ trip

The 2 guides were just perfect. We were a group of 9 ladies ( 3 seniors) and although part of the tour was riding through some of town, we felt very safe - they really looked after us with traffic etc. There was a little culture along the way- stopping to look at ruins etc. Lunch was basic but very tasty and there was plenty- could ask for more if required. The wine was pleasantly surprising- much nicer than we expected. The bikes are great- you can work as hard or as little as you like. All in all we had a thoroughly enjoyable trip and would recommend it.

This was so much more than we expected. The scenery is stunning and the history is so interesting. Alessandro was engaging and so warm and welcoming. He was patient in explaining what the tour entailed and reassuring about our capabilities on the bike. Highly recommend this tour. Oh and the lunch and wine at the most gorgeous vineyard!! Wonderful!

It is a nice tour but you need to be an expert cyclist

It should be noted that the staff are very kind and pleasant people but you need to be an expert cyclist and be used to riding in the city and with high traffic. The description of the tour shows that lunch is included but it is not really a lunch, what they provide is more like a snack (a small pizza, some cheese and handcraft wine). The route in general is nice but it is expensive for me.

Alejandro and guido were great. We learned much about the area we were biking in. The lunch was fabulous. Even with a spill on a gravel/mud small hill (if it weren’t for the week rain ahead of this it wouldn’t have happened) we had a fabulous trip

Incredible Tour with an Even Better Meal

This was one of the best tours I have ever been on. The host was communicative beforehand and picked us up a short distance from the cruise ship. He drove us to the bike shop on the outskirts of town where we met our guide. The bikes were new and in great shape. Our guide was incredible, and a dual American National so he spoke perfect English and Italian. Our group was small and he made it personal. Biking through the city was a bit stressful but it was part of the experience and our guide was great at showing us how to navigate traffic. As incredible as the bike tour around the city was, the best part was the lunch at the small Italian vineyard. You eat incredible food and drink the vinyard's wine on a beautiful terrace over looking a volcanic lake. Grape vines grow over your table and you can reach up and pick grapes to eat during your meal. Then you do a stroll around the Vinyard to look at some Roman ruins on the property. Fruit trees line the vineyard and our guide picked us some fresh tangerines to eat while we walk. After the Vinyard you continue the bike ride around the lake and end at the top of a volcano with a great view into the bay of Naples below. I can't recommend this tour enough and would go again in a heartbeat.

On such a lovely and hot summery day in Naples, the best thing we did was to take this tour. Great guide, felt very safe and fresh, with the light wind coming to us, going up and around the lake and a lovely simple homey place. The guide made some great stops along the way in& back, worth every minute of it. Thanks!!

Great tour of the coastline with many stops along the way to explain historical landmarks. Headed up to a wonderful small family owned winery for a traditional snack (and of course wine). Wines were made from local indigenous grapes and paired well with our meal.

They never picked me up from my hotel and even though, I contacted them the night before and twice the next morning to confirm the time of my pickup, they never responded. I don’t know what happened. But the good thing about Viator is that they will make sure to get right on top of getting you a refund. The customer service representative was very friendly and apologetic and even tried to contact the company to see why I wasn’t picked up.

Beautiful Views and Delicious Food!

Would highly recommend! It was great to get out of the city center and see some beautiful views. You do ride your bike through some busy roads, but our tour guide Tino made sure we all stuck together and we felt very safe the whole time. We made a few different stops and got some history at each point. The lunch at the vineyard was delicious, it consisted of various types of bread and wine, but surprisingly was still very filling. Would recommend to all looking for something to do outside of the city!

From collection by Guido and a seamless transfer to the E-bike location onwards this was a brilliant excursion that showed us more of the Pozzuoli area than we would ever have seen without it. Max, our guide, was fantastic, lots of great knowledge of the area and just the right pacing on our touring around. The vineyard lunch was idyllic with fantastic local produce and a nice cold glass or two of Vino Bianco to enjoy! Then the journey up to the Sulfatara crater to see more of the area, before heading back to Napoli was slightly harder work in the legs but well worth the effort! Trust your guide to see you through the Italian traffic and you’ll have a delightful time :)

It was awesome!! Guido assisted us in getting to the meeting point and Tino was a great guide, looking out for our safety and giving us much needed breaks from the heat. The vineyard was spectacular with great food and 🍷! Would do again if back in Naples!!
