Severino our driver was fantastic, perfectly prompt at our pick up location and got us to our hotel ahead of schedule. He even knew that the hotel was not accessible by car so he called ahead and had them assist with our luggage upon our arrival. 10/10 would recommend to anyone making the trip to the coast!

An amazing trip

If you are going to stay in Positano, I highly recommend hiring Vincenzo as your private driver. It made such a difference not having to worry about transportation to and from the hotels and airport. When I first arrived in Napoli, Vincenzo and Alessandro picked me up at my hotel. The drive to Positano was beautiful. They even stopped to let me take pictures and take my picture! They were so great I decided to rebook with them on my way back to the airport. Thank you both for a wonderful time!

More than just a transfer!

Highly recommended! We decided to book a private transfer from Naples to Positano as we heard it was a more difficult place to get to and we wanted a stress free experience. Thankfully we got what we wanted and more! Our driver Vincenzo not only provided us with an excellent transfer, he also brought so much character to make it a more enjoyable experience. He was very knowledgeable about the areas we passed by and was able to give us worthy recommendations. He took us to some breathtaking lookouts and made sure we got some beautiful photos of the coastline! Very lovely guy. A fantastic experience, I would recommended this to everyone.

frustrating experience

This is a tough review to write. And 3 stars might even be generous based on the massive headache I had at the end of the experience. The people are very nice and trying their best, but came up way short on this one. Communication prior to pick up date was fine, communicating through viator message and then WhatsApp with company I thought we were all set. 4 people and 6 bags from Amalfi to Naples with a 2 hour stop in Pompeii for a tour. Told them we had a 2:30 tour scheduled and wanted to leave Amalfi at 1:00 to get there in time. Was told 1:30 would be fine as only 1 hour trip. OK - fine - they know what they are doing. I reach out that morning to get driver contact info as was asked to do. Not till late morning did I get the info. I reach out to driver to confirm and to ask the make and model and color of van so we can spot each other. At 1 PM driver said he only had a car - not a van. There was a screw up. A sedan was not going to fit us all especially with their "rule" that no one in the front seat and only 2 in the back. So they said we would have to wait 20 plus minutes for them to route a van to us making us late for our Pompeii tour. The head guy just chuckled and said "mistakes happen". So we wait and we tell the tour guy we were going to be late. He was very cool about it. I tipped him extra for his understanding. But the sedan still shows up and says we should leave our bags behind in a local hotel and then they will follow us to Pompeii while we tour. That was a horrible idea. Was not gong to do that. So instead we jammed what we could in the trunk, put the rest on our laps and piled in the car and off to Pompeii we went on a stomach turning drive as the driver tried to make up time. Oh yes - the driver was supposed to speak english and that was untrue - not a word. He used google translate to tell us how screwed we were. They said they could have the van meet us in Pompeii so we could be comfortable the rest of the trip. We get to Pompeii and meet our guide (great guy) and he spoke to the driver and we were told now we were not going to get the van for the final leg. He could tell we were not happy. So much so I think that during our tour I was told they did indeed switch our items to a van. Van trip was really nice and Fulvio was fantastic and it should have been that way from the start. So all in all - worth the almost 400 dollars? Not a chance.

The reason why we sent you another van as a replacement, as you specified, was goig to be 20 minutes late, time that we think is acceptable, considering that the waiting tolerance is half an hour. But you were in a hurry to leave because you told us at the last moment that you had a reservation with a guide, and to accommodate your request you left with the car knowing that it would be not very comftable . We are pleased that you took the tour of the excavations and then arrived at your destination with the Van that we had sent as a replacement. Carlo was our driver from Positano to Rome...he was outstanding. He was right on time, and during the trip gave a lot of information about the region, the history, and also tips on best things to do in Rome. He was super friendly and despite the traffic we felt completely safe along the way. Very highly recommended!

Driver was a half hour late to pick us up. It’s heavy traffic sure, but the one star is for making us wait 30 min to get picked up again at Pompeii. We had to run with luggage to the train. We had no time to eat because we were waiting in Pompeii and could not eat at the terminal because all time had run out. Robbed out of one hour.

Not worth the money….

Our driver meet us at the Naples airport with a sign which was great but he did not greet us, say hello or welcome us which was a little odd. While we did arrive safe at our Positano destination our driver was on his phone texting the majority of the trip which made me very nervous for our safety because the roads were so windy and heavy with vehicles. We paid nearly $300 US dollars for this service and while the vehicle was accommodating the driver was not at all inviting nor a safe driver. I would NOT recommend using this service. Find another service that cares for people safety and perhaps a driver who actually says hello!

Using this private car service was surprisingly easy and reliable. Our driver (Silvio) was very professional and nice. We were so pleased with the experience, we may take a private car the whole way instead of using a train and car.
