We conclude our enjoyable afternoon at Aunt Sally's Creole Pralines, 810 Decatur Street, where we will have a delicious, historically French concoction, a Pecan Praline.

What To Expect

Meet your guide and group at a central meeting point to begin your tour. During your walk, learn about the difference between Creole and Cajun dishes as you visit historic restaurants. Taste dishes like Jambalaya, hot seafood gumbo, the heavily Sicilian-influence muffuletta sandwiches, and a New Orleans' favorite—red beans and rice. Finish up with a delicious pecan praline for dessert to cap off a day of delicious treats.

Moderate amount of walking. The blocks are short in the historic French Quarter. Wear comfortable shoes. Bringing an umbrella is always a good idea.
Sorry but substitutions are not available. Many local dishes are made using sausage or ham. Sorry, but we cannot accommodate vegetarians or vegans.

Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

I booked this for my group and the pressure was on me to pick a good one! I’m so glad I went with Premier for many reasons. First, we were the only ones and they did not cancel us. Instead, we got a private tour! And second, Heidi was our tour guide and she was wonderful! The food was delicious and the service was quick and friendly. Heidi was interesting and kept the party rolling while sharing New Orleans history and food history. Everyone had a fantastic afternoon with delicious food expert guidance and an overall great time!

This business is under new ownership, and they are doing a great job of bringing the company back to life after the terrible years of being shut down by Covid. The tour guide was lively and energetic, and told great stories about the old French colony. Food was delicious and varied. Restaurants had such wonderful ambiance.
