David and our driver Jessy were fabulous ! This is a wonderful Christmas trip to take from Manhattan!!! It’s so fun to get to view Manhattan from Brooklyn!! Ending at the tree in Rockefeller Center is the best!! The stop in Greenwich Village was amazing!

Very accommodating and extremely helpful. We were stuck in a gridlock due to closed street and Fred was on the phone with us until we made it to pick up. He got everyone to agree to wait for us. Our guide was very informative with history of every area we drove through. The lights we fun and a nice experience too!

Seeing the houses in their glory was a sight indeed inspiring new ideas for back home, only part that's a downfall is that you don't have time to see all as there is that many streets. Idea give a map of the estate and on each corner put a icon or number so on the map you can find yourself and then you can go round at your own pace

This excursion was very disappointing. I believe we were the first tour of the season and it felt like it. The guides were very nice but the experience was a let down. There were, maybe, 7 homes decorated. And nothing like the pictures. There were several houses that were in the process of being decorated but weren’t lit. This is a pricey excursion and it takes an hour to get into Brooklyn and then 1 hour to “look at the decorations” and then return to midtown. It’s a lot of time committed and money to see less than 10 homes. Again the gentlemen who were the guides were very nice but this should not be an offered excursion until the Dyker Heights area is fully decorated. Otherwise you are not getting your money or time’s worth.

I'm very sorry you found the tour less than you expected. We clearly state in our literature that the houses are not fully decorated until around November 28th. Again, I'm sorry you were disappointed.

I have never written a negative comment about one of our excursions, but this one was not worth the money. We travel A LOT and book many of our excursions through Viator, and we were highly disappointed in this tour. Our tour bus driver was in training, so the tour guide had to constantly give him driving directions rather than narrating our tour in a cohesive manner. When we finally arrived in Dyker Heights, only about 1/4 of the neighborhood was even decorated. We realize that Viator can’t control when/if the neighborhood decorates, but there should have been a disclaimer that going the week of Thanksgiving would be very low participation in lighting. It was about the same as driving through any other neighborhood in your own state. About every 4th or 5th house had any lights at all. We were supposed to go to Dumbo and have pizza. We never went to Dumbo at all. Never stopped for our slice of pizza either. We did make a bathroom stop, but the bathrooms were all locked up, so we basically rode around on a bus for about 4 hours listening to directions on where the bus driver should turn, no restrooms opportunities at all, no food, no drink. Worst tour we’ve been on.

I'm sorry you were disappointed in the tour. We clearly state in our ads that the Dyker Lights are at a partial intensity. I was the tour guide on the night in question, and although the driver was new, my directions to him on occasion in no way diminished my narration. An occasional make a left or a right to the driver hardly diminished the tour. I'm a bit puzzled by your comment about stopping in Dumbo for pizza since that is not part of the tour and is not offered. I appreciate your comments, but stating that you spent four hours listening to me give directions is highly disingenuous.

Worth the trip

Large bus tour with on board guide. Left on time with a mix of families, couples, both old and young. Guide was knowledgeable, informative, but a bit corny. Drove through several Manhattan areas including Chelsea, Meatpacking, then Dyker Heights (the crown jewel), Brooklyn for Manhattan skyline view, Washington Square and Rockefeller Center. Dyker heights was crowded and the group moved slow, but we were free to explore on our own as we had the departure time and location spelled out. Lights are ridiculously amazing and worth the trip. The tour bus will drop you off at the numbered cross streets as you make your way north on 5th (?) Ave. to Rockefeller, but you'll miss the famous tree. Otherwise, tour ends and you need to find your way back to your hotel (there is a subway station at Rockefeller, FWIW).

Best tour ever! Our tour guide Fred was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable about the history of Dyker Heights and New York in general. Had lots of good trivia and stories to tell. The Beautifully decorated homes are hard to capture in pictures. What an experience! Plus we hit all the nice points in the city. The time flew by. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

False advertisement Tour details said we would be stopping at ferry island point for city skyline and walking around Washington square and see that tree We only went to Dyker heights and came Back no other stops Which I saw were other tours which were cheaper and I picked this one because of the multiple spots which was more expensive Doubt I’ll get refund the difference But buyer beware

Would you please specify the date you took the tour? I'm afraid I have to disagree with your false characterization of our tour. We deliver the experience advertised and more. On the night in question, it was raining. We did the complete tour of DH and then made our regular rest stop at Brooklyn Bridge Park to use the restrooms and view the lower Manhattan Skyline. Unfortunately, because of rain and high winds, the stop was curtailed. We made our usual stop in Washington Square Park to view the Christmas Tree and WS Arch. I'm not exactly sure where you were at that point. As a sole proprietor, the quality of the tour is very important to me. I don't appreciate being accused of "false advertising" it is a derogatory claim with no basis in fact.
