What To Expect

Hop on a comfortable minivan or bus at 47th Street and 8th Avenue in NYC, and begin the 90-mile (140-kilometer) drive east to the see-and-be-seen Hamptons. Enjoy the view as you weave through Manhattan and the borough of Queens.

Travel to the town of Southampton, a charming and trendy little coastal settlement that's home to the rich and famous, including David Letterman, Paris Hilton, and Jerry Seinfeld, among many others. Wander down the streets flanked by cafes and boutiques, and learn about the history of the area.

Your next stop is Sag Harbor, a quaint town with a yacht-filled marina. Walk along the sea and the streets of Sag Harbor, soaking up its historic ambience.

After lunch (own expense), head west towards the Tanger Outlets, where you'll receive mall goodies and get free time to explore the stores and find bargains (own expense) at the brand name stores. Come late afternoon, it's time to depart westward for an evening arrival back at your original departure point.

A great trip with a lovely guide who had lots of knowledge and jokes. Just needed longer than the 2 hours at the outlets as it was spread over a large space so didn’t allow much time to visit a variety of shops.

Great views but disappointing info!!

It was fabulous visiting the Hamptons, the location of so many of the shows and movies that I love and Coopers Beach was amazing to see! But the tour guide was very disappointing, she gave very limited information during the 12 hours we were together but on the other hand the two Italian tourists at the back of the bus had 12 hours of constant information from their guide….. I wished that I could understand and be in that group!

An ok getaway

The breakfast location was good. We rode for 2 hrs. and saw a simbolic duck. Then rode a bit longer to enter a billionaires' street that ended in a beach. I was not impressed with riding a street to look at rich peoples' houses with little context. We then spent 20 min. at a beach, on a sunny day i hope its a longer stay. The time spent at south hampton and Sag Harbor was nice. We were given time to stroll hrough the streets. The wine tasting should be after lunch not before. I also think that it should include two wineries since we went to a winery section of long island. Finally the outlets. I was ok with the outlet but not the reason to take the trip. I think the trip was light enough to include another location like montauk. I also think that this trip is an ok getaway but it need more purpose/ intention. It does not call for two tour guided either. The one assign to the italian speaking group did not really do much. Honestly, for a trip like this, there is no need for a tour guide. Consider doing away with guides and lower the price of the trip. The bus driver can tell people at what time to come back to the bus. The tour guide lady was ok. She saved the driver from getting lost.

Enjoyed lunch at Sag Harbour and free time in Southampton. The tour guide pointed out a lot of interesting things along the journey. I would have enjoyed more time in Sag Harbour and Southampton or seeing another town then going to the outlet mall.

Fantastic driving on way...

Fantastic driving on way back in rush hour traffic. I was unaware of the distances involved so it was a longer day than expected. I would not bother with the wine tasting at all. I recommend only going to Sag harbour not Southampton. Beach stop was good. We had 3 hours at Tangers mall. Ok time but drop us at one end and then pick up at Food Court. Otherwise all good . I really enjoyed Cooper Beach. The scenery was breath taking. I also enjoyed the Sag Harbor. I enjoyed taking pictures in front of the Wind Mill and walking along the pier.

Enjoyed our tour guide, Moses, he and our driver made the trip very leisurely and enjoyable. I thoroughly enjoyed visiting The Hamptons and Sag Harbor. The wine tasting at Duck Walk Winery was also a highlight.

Have done this tour 3 times previously and thoroughly enjoyed it! This time the tour guide was great, as was the actual tour, however we were very disappointed to be on an old, smelly and dirty coach!! Previously Viator transport has always been very clean and much newer vehicles. Have marked this down purely because of the transport.

This was a well structured day tour of the Hamptons. Our guide Bruno was informative and engaging and related well to the passengers. Got to see a lot of the rich and famous areas with enough time at each to explore. Enjoyed the outlet shopping at the end although it is a large complex and I could have spent longer there we were given 2 hours. It is a long day - 7am - 7pm but with the rests on the bus between stops was not too tiring.

We had heard of The Hamptons where the rich & famous have homes but have never visited this area.Very much a contrast of pretty Long Island villages & expensive mansions on the shoreline.Had a full day of sightseeing , shopping & a visit to a vineyard for wine tasting, Bruno our guide for the day & Mario our excellent driver kept us informed & safely transported throughout a very full day. Thankyou to both of them.Well up to the usual high standard we expect on a Viator trip.

Was going to take pic by the vineyard.but guide was rushing as "we gota move ladies, were lateTrip to outlet, was not enough, the long walks between shop squeezd in 1.5hrs was too fast. Someone was smoking behind us at the bus 3x. Guide didnt reprimand her
