Our guide Emi was very prompt in picking us up at our hotel. She was very capable of navigating the train station and tickets etc. including the cable car up to Mt Koya. She knew so much about the area and the history. She was a wealth of knowledge when we went thru the very old cemetery. She was a delight. We had a wonderful lunch with her as well. She knew the bus stops to the cemetery and the temples we visited. We could not have enjoyed this as much if it were not for Emi. I would highly recommend her for any tour. She is delightful.

Amazing tour with an excellent guide Miyuki. We experienced authentic cuisine for lunch and visited the most beautiful monuments in Mt. Koya. I definitely recommend this tour in you are visiting the Kyoto area.

Thank you for your wonderful review. Koyasan is far from Kyoto, Osaka, and anywhere else, so you didn't have enough time for a day trip. I wish I had had more time to look around. Your schedule was tight, so I think the sacred atmosphere surrounded by nature in the Okunoin (inner sanctuary) healed your mind and body. Our guide Mr. Hiro Nakagawa was exellent. Escorting us to Mount Koya: Danjo-Garan: Kompon Daito Pagoda and Kon-do Hall along with Kongobuji Temple and Okuno-in were magnificent. We learned about the way buddhism reached japan. Views and the maple tree red blossom were beautiful. 10/10!

One of the most beautiful Temples I’ve seen in my life. Yuka our tour guide amazing. I only wish the tour on Mt Koya lasts a little longer because you spend more time arriving than in the actual place.

Delightful tour

A very delightful and relaxing tour the tour guide mr Okazaki was on time we took a train from my hotel to the train station from where we can reach koya mountain. The fares for the train and the cable car are not included in the price of this tour so put in mind you have to pay for yourself and then tour guide. We visited three areas in koya mountain the famous grave yard with the kobo daishi grave then the main temple of shingon buddism and finally the museum. It was such an interesting and spiritualy uplifting tour if I was alone I wouldn’t have been able to go there myself because the train and subway system can be difficult for a first time tourist. The only reason I gave this tour 4 stars is because me Okazaki’s knowledge of the religious statues in the temples like the bosastsu the hotoke and the Miyuu is a little weak .overall this is one of my favorite tours I did in japan and me Okazuki is one of the nicest people I met
