My tour guide Ruben was very informative. It was amazing. Would recommend to anyone. I was captured by the vast amount of history that the cathedrals has and also the Old town. The trip to the Panama Canal topped off the tour especially the movie explaining the history and day to day operations.

This was the best tour you could go on for knowledgeable information about Panama, Panama Canal, Old Town, the building it was so much information a great history lesson. This was better than a group tour more personal, out driver Ruben was the best tour guide, we ask question and he had an answer. I would do the tour again and request Ruben. If you plan a trip this should be #1 on the list. Thanks Ruben I had a blast.

Panama Canal was the Highlight

Overall, the best part of the tour was visiting the Panama Canal. Our guide Erick lacked enthusiasm and was not very engaging. During the casco viejo city tour he was walking very fast and it was hard to catch up with him. We were alll young and able-bodied. The tour description indicated we would receive water but he did not have it. We walked 2 hrs in the heat. He did stop at the store after leaving CV and purchased water for us. The tour description also mentioned we would stop for lunch at Causeway but he told us it was not possible due to the schedule to get us to Canal on time. He was not very conversational during the tour or while on the van and snapped at my friend when she asked to use the car mobile phone charger. Perhaps our experience would have been better with a different tour guide.

We had an amazing private tour around Panama City with Ruben, a fantastic guide. Communication beforehand and pickup was so easy. We went everywhere that we wanted to go and Ruben was so kind and helpful with my mom who uses a travel wheelchair. I highly recommend Ruben and this tour.

Ruben was an amazing tour guide. Knew everything about the city and his English was really good. Easy to understand, answered all our questions, modified the trip a little to better fit what we wanted to spend more time doing, got us back to the ship port on time. The only thing we missed was the Panama sign to take a photo at but we got more than we expected. Definitely recommend.

Julio our tour guide was amazing from he picked us up from our hotel he started being very attentive and communicating non stop which is very good because most tour guide wouldn't communicate but he did which was impressive. I'll definitely book again with my family coming back to Panama.

An OK tour but not great

The Casco Viejo portion of the tour was not really anything we hadn't seen or done the day before. I am not sure if the guide had studied up much of the history to provide more interesting stories. Note that Viejo Panama is not part of the tour either and is a bit of a drive away. We did it with a separate $5 Uber ride the next day. Also note that it and the state museums are closed on Mondays. While one can do the Canal visit by oneself, the guide ws useful in helping us through it quickly and dealing with the crowds when a ship went through. He also took us across the Bridge of the Americas and to the Amador Causeway which both had good views. Despite the causeway being a Cruise ship hub, the restaurant we were taken to was nice and had really good food. I had the oven baked Red Snapper which was delicious and I never reached that height with the Snapper the rest of our Vacation. The Duty Free shop there is not really worth it. I checked the prices for my Wife's perfume and found yet again that they are slightly cheaper if you buy on line in the US! The guide took us to a Native shop which again wasn't worth it, Just cheap souvenirs. There are more shops in Casco Viejo selling the same or better and thus you can find as much or more variety there.

Hi Andrew thank you for your comments. As a serious tour operator our guides have a intinerary to accomplish and seems that J did a great job to make it happens. It is true that if you already walked the old town we can change it with Panama la Vieja Museum but as you mentioned all the museums are close on Mondays. Our compromise is that you have an unforgetable experience during our tour with high quality standarts. Thank you for being part of our tour!..
