Great experience due to the canal not necessarily the boat

On time pick up and then in van for a while to get to dock. Guide was great at answering individual questions, friendly and knowledgable. However, one had to stand in a certain part of the boat to hear him as only place there were speakers. It is a scramble and elbowing to get to the small front of the boat section to see the locks. Our driver for return was not with all the others but on other side of a building.

The boat had four levels and was very comfortable. The views were amazing and going through the locks with other boats was super cool. The guide was so informative and answered questions as well. The lunch was surprisingly very good.

Seeing the boat lowered and the gates opening and how they kept all the vessels parallel when not moving was fascinating. But the guide on board was not speaking loud enough to take in what he was saying all the time.

A fabulous experience all around. I do recommend this tour. Loved everything...hotel pick up and drop off, the boat cruise on the Panama Canal and through the Locks, the lunch was delicious, the tour guide (Edwin if I am correct) was amazing, he gave us tons of interesting information and history about Panama Canal. All the staff were nice, friendly, and helpful. I was stung by a wasp on deck and they helped me instantly, thank you very much for the medical attention, I appreciated it. The boat had outside decks and an air-conditioned inside. Places to sit everywhere and enjoyed the breathtaking sights. Additional snacks and drinks to purchase at a good price. A wonderful bonus was that they supplied water to drink and had six bathrooms! Excellent day, thank you!

Great tour! Food was amazing and enough space for everybody on the ferry! The guide explaining in both English and Spanish makes it really convenient to whoever takes the tour. There is also beer and extra chips you can pay for if you want to.

The whole tour was a great experience. Alex our guide/narrator was fun and well - informed. It is amazing to be in the lockes feeling the rise & fall. With huge catamarans, an oil tanker, and huge freighter all behind us! It is a long day- bring water, hat, sunscreen. The lunch was wonderful and water & beverages the whole day. I recommend it! A must do while in Panama City.

Very good tour; we went with interested adults and somewhat less interested kids (ages 10-12). Everything worked just as described in the tour (very easy pickup and drop off from hotel; ship we boarded definitely had a lot of people but there was space for all; lunch was efficiently organized and tasty; there was no shortage of drinks and water; and the guide on board was entertaining and interesting). Our kids definitely thought it was long but that is the time required to wait for the accompanying cargo ship and to go through the locks. I would say the adults loved it and the kids thought it was interesting in retrospect!

The trip was fun and the boat is nice. The staff was friendly and lunch was good. The only issue with me was we had the bad luck of getting stuck going thru the canal with a large slow boat. So it was get in the canal and wait for an hour for the other boat to get in. Then go thru the locks and do it again two more times. The trip lasted until dark. Not the tour companies fault but I would recommend bringing a book or some cards or something to pass the waiting times.

Lack of safety instructions on boat. What to do, where were life jackets……. Lifeboat etc Would have been good to know in case of emergency.

Good way to see the canal. It was very hot which made it seem longer. The guide was okay its a larger tour once your on the boat can be a little hard to hear the guide at some points. The information said this is 6 hours but that's the amount of time on the boat. Including travel plan for at least 8 hours of your day.

The whole Panama Canal experience was great. Our driver was prompt picking us up and very courteous. The guide on the boat shared the history of the canal and the lunch was yummy! I highly recommend.

The tour was very informative. Going through the locks was fascinating as you experienced the boat lowering itself and the gate opening. Lunch was good. However, it gets hot on the boat as you wait to go thru the locks thus water so of been more plentiful and easier to get to. Please note: the half day tour is 7 hours. Overall a great experience and would recommend.

Whole canal process was interesting. . Please note - we had to wait in vans for 45 minutes because the person with the QR code scanner was late- not good. Suggest using headsets to tune into language/ descriptive info rather than blasting constant loud descriptions - on off bus uses them.

I would say that we enjoyed the boat ride over Panama canal is most enjoyable experience. You can experience how the water level drops in locks and see how gate opens. You will go through 3 gates till boat reaches Pacific. View of Panama city from Pacific ocean is awesome. It is a must thing to do.

This tour was a memorable way to celebrate my cousin’s 70th birthday!!! We are both from Panama but had only experienced the Miraflores locks on land, from the observation tower. This time we wanted to experience traveling the the locks from a boat! It did not disappoint!!! Kudos to the crew! Crew was great, very informative, food was delicious! Enough space in the boat to roam around. Also appreciated the free transportation to and from the hotel we were staying.
