Perfect organisation!!!! Everything was perfect. Timing was perfect, boat was clean and safe, personal was professional and available every minute.

It is just ok. There is prerecorded info going through speakers in several languages, but it's often not timed well. It also plays so often that people ignore it and shout over it at each other which makes it more difficult to listen to the info. A few monuments have a great view like the Eiffel Tower but many aren't great views. Overall, I feel like it is worth a 3 star rating - average. Nothing wrong with that, really. I just wouldn't recommend it. I also wouldn't criticize anyone if they chose to do it.

I booked the Seine River tour through Viator for April 6. When I approach the dock, they tell me that they did not offer the tour that day (something they never told me by email or phone in advance). I contacted the supplier for a full refund for the activity and to date no one has contacted me. I feel really ripped off!

As you quite rightly said, the level of the Seine rose rapidly at the beginning of April: 2 metres in a few hours and the level reached prevented our boats from sailing as all the boats on the Seine river. This is a purely technical issue: if the level of the Seine rises too much, the boats no longer have the space they need to pass under the many bridges in Paris. The Compagnie des Bateaux Mouches apologises for this situation, which is beyond its control. Our teams were immediately mobilised so that all the customers were informed and could either modify their programme or request a refund from the distributor where they had bought their ticket or dinner-cruise seat. Relaxing boat ride

We really enjoyed our boat trip on the Seine. Especially loved seeing the Musee d'Orsay and the Eiffel tower from the boat. It was a relaxing journey and we could hear the commentary clearly as we were sitting inside.

I booked non refundable tickets and when I arrived I was told there were no boats leaving that day. I tried messaging Viator for a refund and no response. Yet, they send me a review form.

Although price was reasonable and boat left on time, we found they had closed upstairs seating, which wasn't good. Comentary was not great and and started late. I think they should forget the use of port and starboard and use 'on your left or right'..

This was a good river tour. Got to see som highlights. There was a a problem with the speakers on the top level of the boat and we had to move to a lower level to hear the descriptions. Because they translated into multiple languages you did not get much of a description of the sites. Do a tour like this at the beginning of your visit so you can identify sites you want to visit.

The tour was quite scenic and we enjoyed being on the Seine River. They did have the top of the boat closed for no reason, the weather was fine so we were disappointed we could not sit on the top.
Basic Seine River Cruise

The cruise is pleasant enough with a few caveats. Last minute, after the boat had loaded everyone, we were all asked to get off the boat and get on a different boat. An explanation wasn't offered and the second boat didn't provide any main-level outdoor seating (only indoor). This was unfortunate, considering the upper level seating was closed off due to the height of the river (recently flooded so not enough clearance under the bridges). With the exception of toilets, there were no services on board (food, beverages, souvenirs, etc.) Sights along the way were pointed out in several languages and depending on where one stood on the boat determined whether or not the announcements could be heard. Despite these issues, it was a beautiful day and we were already familiar with some of the landmarks so we enjoyed the 1 hr + ride.

I have been in other boats that you can sit on the top and it allows to see the city. This boat had the top closed off and all you could see was the Seawall. I suggest you find another company. We were very disappointed.

Dear Sir or Madam, thank you for telling us about your disappointment, we are sorry that the experience did not live up to your expectations. The upper deck has been closed to the public for the last few days, but this is due only to the rising level of the Seine. When the river rises, the boats pass very close to the bridges and anyone on the upper deck would be subject to serious injury. It is therefore for safety reasons, and for reasons beyond our control, that the upper deck was not opened to you on the day of your visit, a procedure adopted by all river companies operating on the Seine (or at least all those offering an upper deck). In the hope that you will be able to enjoy a trip in better weather conditions in the future, I wish you, Madam, Sir, a pleasant day. Yours faithfully

A little snafu at check in (our names weren’t on the roster and the young woman giving out “boarding passes” kept giving us suspicious looks although I presented her booking and confirmation numbers). Servers were super friendly and attentive, the musicians were wonderful and the food was also very good. And of course, I now believe that seeing the Eiffel Tower at night is one of the best ways to truly see it. Overall, a 10/10 experience for me and my family (including my 5yo granddaughter).

Ramy was a very knowledgeable and accommodating guide and interesting young man. We covered a lot of ground in a short time which was good for us. And learned about using the Metro. Our only issue was that we only chanced to meet up with him since he wasn’t expecting us at the bakery where we met. He was halfway through a tour with others and if we hadn’t asked him if he was our guide he would have left without us. Not a very good situation. But thankfully it worked out in the end.

Waste of money!!! You can’t hear the announcements- way too many languages. Everyone was running everywhere to get photos. Honestly just walk along the river for a better tour. Give people headphones to hear!!
Don’t waste your money on the champagne optio

The champagne option does not exist! I paid extra to have that experience, and they simply just throw you on the boat and go on the tour. All they had to sell was soft drinks and snacks and nowhere to redeem the champagne option on site.

Trip was shorter than advertised. It had a different route, making us miss some highlights (Notre Dame etc.). After asking the reason for this, we were told the water level was 'too high'. After checking the water levels, it turned out to be within normal range according to the authorities, and no (shipping)restrictions were in place. We got cheated.

Dear customer, we apologise for the inconvenience caused, which is beyond our control. Since the 2nd week of December, there has been a flood on the Seine, as can happen from time to time. The itinerary may be modified accordingly. Posters have been put up on our quay, at embarkation and on board the boats to explain to customers the impact on traffic. Kind regards

We checked into our hotel and then walked right over and took the tour right as the sun was starting to set. It was a great way to quickly see a lot of Paris after you first arrive. We took lots of photos and got a real good sense of where everything was located.
