Sub Par Figure it out yourself ticket purchase tour. Dissapointing

This was the least favorite tour of my trip. It was truly a disappointment as far as “guided” tour. We met early and then walked together a few blocks to Eiffel Tower and waited in line a long time for entry. There certainly seemed to be notning special about going up with the guide. Little info was given at the top about what we were looking at around the city. We then were asked if we wanted to be accompanied tot he Louvre or go on our own. We said we did want to be taken there. I was confused why I would be given an option when I booked a tour. We were walked to the entry and took tour on our own with no map to the Louvre or recommendation on what we would do when inside. Huge disappointment. Then were told we could go on River tour anytime and just go back at our convenience. Just a really odd experience. I don’t think that was “BEST of Paris”. Not. Good.

Changed the tour without previous notice

The guides were very kind and polite but the tour operator decided to change the order of the tour. Instead of doing Eiffel Tower, Seine Cruise and Louvre, they changed it to Eiffel Tower, Louvre and cruise without previous notice which was terrible because we had plans near the Louvre and our cruise was ruined because it was raining all afternoon.

Guide was nice and courteous but spoke very little and was not informative about the day’s events or any history about what we were actually seeing. We got there early but some people had to catch up bc the guide left early and didn’t wait until the scheduled time. In addition to that the tour was badly organized and more like a “drop off with tickets” - advertised to be a day in Paris but was actually a “get in long line at Eiffel Tower” then take metro trains (no bus) to louvre and wait an hour there before being told to go look at whatever we wanted without going back to Eiffel Tower. Guide then just disappeared after giving us tickets to boat ride to do on own which was across the city back at starting point of the day. Kind of felt like a waste of a day and should be better advertised.

The guide just gave the tickets. We had to stand in the line for everything. There was no real explanation of the places we visited. I could have bought the tickets on my own and could have at least saved sometime waiting for everyone in the group.

They do not tell you they will have you standing and waiting very long periods of time at the Eiffel tower entrance. Then afterwards you wait for a very long time. Then they walk you to the train station and ride with you to the Louvre. Once you get into the extremely busy Louvre, they leave you and just give you the tickets for the boat. The boat was so overcrowded we couldn’t even get on. A enormous waste of money. Please do not waste your time. The guides were amazing though.

After spending 2 hours in line waiting for the Eiffel Tower to open it never did for some unknown reason and meeting our tour guide at 0800 and then waiting in line until 10:30 and still no one coming out to tell us anything we just left and went on the river tour.

The trip included three parts. The guide took us to 2. He provided us tickets to the third. When asked wher to go for the boats he did not know just look at the ticket. When asked the name of the tour provider he again sid look at the ticket. When we were walkingthe guide was usually a block ahead. He was asked to slow down he said ok but cintinued at the same pace. Finall at the Tower he gave us the date the height and weight. That was the extent of his information. He was nice but not ready to guide a group.

First of all I would like to say a special thank you to our Tour Guide Lara , she was so wonderful, knowledgeable and caring . If you are a solo traveler like me, Lara (our tour guide) will gladly take lots of photos for you . Lara , speaks fluent French , Spanish and English language. All of 3 are memorable to me but the best part was Eiffel Tower Summit . If anyone wants to do this tour… you mind as well go all the way to the top and make sure to get in line right away if you want to buy flutes of Champagne 🥂 . The celebration 🍾 is up there .

We were going it in the wrong tour group because the tour coordinator was trying to up-sell us additional features. The issue was eventually straightened out and when we got to the correct guide she did a great job but only after we lost an hour of tour time.

Unsatisfied with the tour timeframes.. we were told to meet at 8 am and we were not able to go to the Effel tower until 930 am. The tour co could have mentioned the majority of the tour was walking and to dress appropriately. The guide did not identify himself nor interact as much as he could have. Lots of waiting around.

I was expecting a better tour. Johanas was the tour leader & had knowledge of the sites we saw. We didn't get to go on the cruise on the Seine (which I would like to be credited). We were also supposed to take a bus to the Louvre which is described in your info which we didn't do. I didn't sign up for a total walking tour., but that's what it turned out to be. I'm 81 & it was very exhausting.

Our guide was great BUT, we paid to see the Eiffel Tower, Cruise the Sienne (which we did) but didn’t get to the Louve because workers had gone on strike & didn’t see Notre Dame due to fire (which was sad), but we didn’t get what we paid for - very upset & angry.

this service was promoted as a "tour" but they guides really served to get us from one place to another … no real information re:background, history, or insights .. the guides basically turned us loose to explore once they got us to the location … only the river cruise provided any real information (provided by the cruise operator via link on our cell phone)

Katrina was very nice, however, this tour was a bit too long for our family of four boys ages 13 and 16. There was too much time at each destination for us, its just a personal preference. For example, 2 hours at the Eiffel tower was too long for us. This was a large group tour, very large. We prefer to pay a little more to have the one on one and the ability to move the tour along at will or vice versa stay a little longer here or there. But, good if you want to save a little money and see four sites in one day:

Tour was good but very long and very rushed at each site. You have to find your own way home from the Notre Dame and have to walk there from the Louvre which is about 30 minutes. The cruise portion is very short and not very informative. You also take a public bus which is extremely crowded. Lots and lots of walking and not a whole lot of guidance at any of the sites.

I have two views of this tour. The tour itself was great. We saw three of the most popular sights in Paris in addition to a cruise down the Seine. Worth the price of admission. Now....the tour guides. It started out with two guides then a third just joined in. So we were split into three groups. It wasn't clear as to what anyone was doing. Our guide seemed nice but also seemed overwhelmed. There was much confusion amongst the people on the tour including myself. Too many examples to mention. I would give it five stars but the disorganization knocks it down to four stars.
