    Helena was wonderful and knowledgeable We saw so many sites that we may never have seen We walked a lot but at 73 and 72 year old we did just fine We stopped for a delicious French coffee in a beautiful cafe Helena also gave us advice on other things including a reservation at her favorite restaurant We were thoroughly pleased with this tour

    Guide NOT fluent in English, frustrating to understand

    The route was good but the guide was NOT a proficient English speaker (and also not a native of France) so we were only able to understand about 40% of the tour. Just to be as clear as possible, both my husband and I are fluent in other languages and able to understand most of the French people we encountered with little difficulty. This tour advertised an English speaking guide; I expected an accent, not someone for whom we needed to guess what she meant by the words "stained" and "human" among other words. Also, and most unsettling, she wanted to connect with us via WhatsApp instead of messaging through Viator, very unprofessional. To her credit, Helena tried her best but this was not the caliber of tour for which I paid. Very disappointing, wish I had used GetYourGuide instead... Lesson learned.

    Hello Vivian, sorry for hear that you are disappointed with my performance… My English is « fluently » indeed but I have a« French » accent and I think this was difficult for you. I accept that I have to progress and Every day I work for improve that. Sorry again. Accents for me sometimes are difficult as I can understand anglophone films. Whenever, you could speak to me in another language, as you say, you are bilingual, I speak 4 … Right, I write “leopard stain” but I don’t have any problems with meanings of “human” word… I am “French” indeed, my identity card this is a french card. I have foreign origines like you and nearly every Parisien citizen. I am a specialist of Paris with 20 years of experience in the tourism in Paris and I also accompanied foreign people. About whatsApp, suppliers need to communicate through, due to the connection and internet issues, that have nothing to do with professionalism. You paid me 100€/person/half a day. This is nothing for a parisien guide. Yes, go getyourguide the next time, they contract me times to times and take the double of my price to the clients with very touristic collectif tours. But may be they fit you better than me, I assume. You try to have your money back after the tour, this was not very nice. Thank you for this review evaluation but I think I deserved better. Helena - Your exceptional guide.

    Helena was absolutely lovely! I was on my first international solo trip and only had one day to explore Paris! She made my visit better than I could have hoped for - we visited all the iconic landmarks and she provided so much history/context. She also introduced me to some local French markets where we treated ourselves to coffee, macaroons, and eclairs! It was perfect. She provided so many recommendations for my next trip to Paris and helped me find my way back to the Gare Du Nord as well. Thank you Helena for everything! If you are looking for a tour guide with warm hospitality and a wonderful day altogether, please book her - you won't regret it!

    I recently took a tour with Helena. If you are looking for a fully customized tour, look no further. She will take you to places which big tours will not. She was very patient and knowledgable. It was a great experience and will definitely take her tour again next time when I am in Paris.

    My guide Helèna is a very experienced professional guide. She is a native parisienne having a lot of knowledge about architectures, historical events, cultural details about all of the historical/cultural places we visited. I would recommend her as the guide to learn the city of Paris for everyone, even for the persons who have visited this city multiple times in the past.

    We had a Paris Private Tour with Helena. She was wonderful, warm, very knowledgeable and informative, and accommodating. She took us around Paris on a walking tour. It was perfect as we got to see the sights and monuments on our own time without being rushed. Helena gave us the history of every monument and building that time flew by without us noticing that she gave us more than we expected. She took us to a French restaurant as well to experience the real French cuisine. Nothing too fancy but the ambience was there. She made sure that we got safely back to our hotel. In the end we felt like we were saying good bye to an old dear friend. Thank you Helena!

From the moment we started our tour to the end, Helena made sure we were comfortable. It just happened to be that my family was unable to walk far distances, she arranged taxi just so we could explore and experience as much as possible on the tour.     More Than I Asked For!

    When I signed up for a tour of the city, I was nervous, because my French was not very good, and I only had one day to see everything. Helena was the perfect person for me to tour with. Not only is she able to speak both French and English, but she knows the bus routes to avoid traffic and crowds so that I was able to see every monument in such a short span of time. We saw every monument listed on her page and some sites that only a true local would know about. We saw a seasonal band playing on the river, stopped at an art school (something I told her I was interested in), went through a carnival where I got my first crêpe, saw one of the oldest restaurants in the region, and even got drinks in a bar where the locals were outgoingly friendly. I took eight years of French courses, and felt I knew a lot about the history of Paris, and I was still able to learn so much during the tour. Helana is one of the most knowledgeable people I have ever met about Parisian history. She has a connection to the location that is evident in her attention to detail and passion for sharing. Another part of my goal for the tour was to take photos for my social media pages. Helena was so gracious and helping me take both photos and videos. Everywhere we went. She even took reshoots to make sure I had exactly what I needed. Now I have more than enough contact for my social media posts! The photos she took of me were wonderful! It was easy to give her direction and to receive advice on great poses. I already showed them to my family, and they are thrilled at how beautiful they came out. I already know which images I want to eventually have framed. The tour also came with a meal. I was expecting to stop by a restaurant on the way, and quickly eat something that was considered French. Instead, I was greeted by a large, homemade feast of a variety of traditional French fruits. They were prepared and displayed better than, any restaurant I could have visited. I feel like I got to taste everything a native French person would consume. Conversation during dinner was one of my favorite parts. Helana is very personable, and it was easy to feel like I was not on a tour, but connecting with an old friend. She shared so much of her life, and gave recommendations on how I can continue to enjoy the area before I had to leave. During the tour, she also let me know what was considered reasonably priced, and what engagements I should look out for. Now I’m reflecting as I write this review. I already miss the sights, smells, and sounds I experienced from the tour, and all the laughter along the way. I am a digital nomad, and have been on several tours in the years that I have been traveling. I can confidently say that Helena is the best. If anyone has an opportunity to take a tour with her, take it! You’ll have a time that you won’t soon forget.
