The Louvre is subject to closures due to strikes. If time permits, we will reach out to you prior to your tour. For last-minute closures, cancellations may be communicated at the meeting point.

Due to an ongoing renovation of the Arc du Carrousel, the meeting point may be a bit crowded. Your Walks coordinator will be waiting for you with a sign.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Guide makes the difference

Our guide was amazing she had really cool makeup and knew so much about the history. I’m sorry I can’t remember her name but I’d love to give her a shout out. We recently did the Versailles tour and it had the worst guide. It helped our Mona Lisa guide stand out even more. So far for us it’s been hit or miss with guides.

Ahmed - Best Tour Guide!!

What an excellent tour!! Ahmed was the perfect tour guide!! He was so knowledgeable and taught us about each work of art we visited. We saw all the major works without feeling rushed and seeing the Mona Lisa at closing was perfect!! Only about 10 people were around so easy to take photos and study painting some. Such a fantastic experience!!

Great use of time

Our guide was amazing. She knew so much information and was incredible. We were very efficient in hour 3.5 hour together. Got to see all the main attractions and got a good sense of what all was in the museum. It’s impossible to go to the Louvre without a guide unless you are spending several days there. Love our tour and how much we got to see in such little time.

Im glad that I went for the museum visit at night. Lesser crowds so you can walk around a bit freely. Emily, tour of our guide was amazing and she share a lot of info with us but never make it boring. There’s a lot to see in the museum and i manage to get really close to Mona Lisa which is great. Definitely recommend if you dislike crowds and want to see the art in the museum up close

Don’t do it!

We were unable to find the meet up place in time (we were only a few minutes late due to a poor drop off by our Uber driver) and were left outside the museum without tickets we had paid for to enter. I would NOT recommend the hassle or stress (or the loss of hundreds of dollars on tickets)! We went in on our own, paid a fraction of the price for self guided and enjoyed the museum’s beauty on our own. Sad start to our first time in Paris.

Great tour but the title maybe easily misunderstood.

The tour was excellent. Our tourguide, Stephanie, was a knowledable art historian who was able to make each artwork so much more interesting with her wonderful stories and sense of humour. The small and intimate group setting worked great too. The only reason why I only gave this 4/5 star was due to the somewhat misleading title of the tour. When I signed up, I was under the impression that we would be able to access the Mona Lisa when it was quieter, but this was not the case when we were there, as when we got to the Mona Lisa at around 5:30pm, the room was still quite packed with people so not at all 'peaceful'. Perhaps the tour can offer this information more clearly in the description so people don't get the wrong idea or have incorrect expectations of the tour. However, mainly thanks to our wonderful tourguide, the whole experience was great and the Mona Lisa was probably the least interesting artwork we saw (due to other artworks being infinitely better).

Wow, Violette was truly amazing! She is professional, very knowledgeable and plus she has a great sense of humor so 2.5hr-3hr rather went by fast! Our tour guide was easy to find and was right on time. Unfortunately I cant remember his name but we were the 3pm tour on the 14 of December. We hit a sweet spot where it was not busy and we were able to see the Mona Lisa up front almost right away. The tour was at a good pace and we hit the highlights. Definitely would recommend as a first time visitor since the size and scope of the museum is overwhelming.

Our guide Susan was excellent, very knowledgeable. Did a great job contextualizing the most famous works in a short period of time. The Louvre is a must see but not my fav museum (so many more lovely experiences at the other art museums in Paris) but if you feel you must deal with the crowds etc then this is the tour to take.
