  • Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
  • Due to the tight nature of the catacombs, the catacombs are not advised for those with claustrophobia.
  • The catacombs are not wheelchair accessible and not recommended for those with mobility limitations.
  • There are 130 steps into the catacombs with no elevator access.
  • Areas visited during this tour are subject to closure. Your guide may need to modify areas visited on the day of the tour.
  • The catacombs are subject to closures due to strikes. If time permits, we will reach out to you prior to your tour. For last-minute closures, cancellations may be communicated at the meeting point.
  • Please note: This tour has a decreased group size of six people and a modified price on select days to allow for a more intimate experience.
  • Walks / Devour complies with all local government regulations. Please refer to local government guidelines for the most up-to-date information.
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 19 travelers

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

They cancelled last minute

They cancelled the tour just 3 hours before it was to start. They said they ‘just found out’ the Catacombs were closed due to a National holiday. We booked weeks in advance a knew it was a holiday when we booked and built our trip itinerary around the ‘fact’ that this tour was operating. on the holiday. Of course there is no opportunity to reschedule before we leave Paris Disappointing for sure!

Our tour guide Amber was very knowledgeable and shared many details about how the catacombs came be to be. This tour is great because you get to see things that are not available to all guests.

Directions to the meeting place were sketchy at best. We showed up in our before meeting time. No one called us. No one texted us. No one made any contact with us. We never went on the tour spent $265 and were told that we weren’t entitled to a refund. Terrible customer service very rude contact with the tour provider. Would never use this app or tour provider again. $265 out the window don’t ever use this app or tour guide

The guide was great and the information learned was cool, but overpriced for what you get. You can easily do this on your own. You can't get lost down there, as it's just one loop through.

Great tour! Our guide Amber was so great, very engaging and informative. The small group size was perfect. We got to go into a few restricted areas with really interesting artifacts. I feel like I got much more out of the experience than if I had gone through without a guide.

We loved this tour! Our guide was Léo, and you can tell she genuinely loves what she does and has a passion for the Catacombs. She was so knowledgeable and excitable which made it even more special for us! She gave us access to parts of the Catacombs that are restricted to the general public, and gave us in depth knowledge and pointed out fine details.

Leo our guide was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions (I’m the type that always has questions). She kept the tour moving and there was a good number of us. And I learned a new word Cataphile. If I lived in Paris I would definitely be one.
