My daughter and I shared one of the best food tours we've ever had with Paolo as our guide. Paolo was very attentive, very knowledgeable and clearly loves Paris and knows its history well. We enjoyed excellent quality foods...macarons, bread, wine and cheese, as well as quiche and delicious chocolates! We visited a unique shop with different peppers, salts and spices, as well as an olive oil shop. Just the most wonderful day!

Our travel guide named Jerome was phenomenal! He brought the city of Paris to life for us! And the food was quintessential Parisian food.

Before Covid, we took a San Sebastian Pintxos food tour. It was fantastic. The guide took us off the tourist path and into the local food establishments. The food and drink was plentiful and delicious. And that is why we paid over $400 for 2 people for a French food tour. This French tour was deficient in food and drink. It became a 3 hour history lesson and none of the history was about food. For $400 we each got a small pastry, a plain crepe, a mini-quiche, and a small charcuterie and one small glass of wine. We had to wait in the local market for quite some time while the guide shopped and purchased the cheese and wine. For that price we could have enjoyed a lovely dinner. Our guide was very nice but did not seem to have a plan for food tasting. I cannot recommend this tour. It was a rip off.

Gelsomina was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious and the conversation was great. My husband and I had an fantastic time trying foods and learning new things about it and the area. She even had us comfortable enough to try escargot at the end of our trip, something both of us were extremely unsure about. We never felt pressured to try anything we didn't want to and she was very helpful finding options for nonalcoholic drinks for me. The only thing we regret was eating a later breakfast before our 1pm tour! The tastings were more than we expected, quantity of food wise, and we sadly couldn't finish everything we were offered. Definitely suggest eating light before it or not at all if you can manage it!

Andea, our guide, was very pleasant and enjoyable. He had a lot of knowledge regarding history and political workings of the area. We were taken to a lovely cafe, a pastry shop and creperie. My only suggestion would be for the guide to have a proposed itinerary of the ten stops rather than ask me to provide suggestions for places I wanted to go. We were expecting 10 stops with “tastings” of various items, but we only actually made it to three or four.
A Great Way to Spend a Few Hours in Paris

We spent a great time with Paolo who was very knowledgeable and passionate about the city he loves. He took his time explaining history, customs and Parisian perceptions and attitudes. The food tasting was well worth the money and it was more than we expected and could possibly eat. Highly recommend this tour!

nice- but not as described

Our tourguide was nice but it wasn't the tour that was described here. We booked a 10am timespot, but we were told that nothing opened until 11 which was frustrating becuase we would have booked a different time. We got to try some good food, but not the places that were listed. One one stop, we got a tart, a quiche, and a croissant which was nice, but wasnt what we though we would be doing- trying different places. Maybe the places described were closed because it was too early... The chocolate mousse was amazing and the food we did get was good, just not what was described. Our stops were: 1) a caramel, 2) a bakery with a a tart, a quiche, and a croissant, 3)a creperie, 4)mousse, and sitting in Luxembourg Gardens while eating, and 5)a charcuterie board.

This was a great tour! The food stops were awesome--it is difficult to pick a favorite! Here are a few of the items I feasted on: crepe, cider (my favorite beverage by far I think), macaron, apple pastry, financier, baguette, cheese quiche, dark chocolate mousse (divine), red wine, and a charcuterie plate. I was stuffed! The tour guide was also amazing and very knowledgeable.

The food tastings with Gelsomina was very enjoyable. My group of five ladies and I asked Gelesomia many questions as we walked along. She speaks fluent English and is very knowledgeable about the culture in Paris. She was energetic, fun and gave helpful tips about making our last few days memorable. We started at a Crepe shop then Bakery for Quiche then onto to Chocolate Mousse, Macroons and ended with wine and cheese board. I would highly recommend this tour and Gelsomina.
