Superb evening with Maxime

We had a wonderful food tour with our guide Maxime , who was very knowledgeable about the specialties of Parisian food and interesting too . We got lost in Paris and were late for the tour but Maxime went out of his way to accommodate us , for which we are very thankful . All in all we had a great evening in montmartre. A must if you are a foodie . Thank you Maxime

Very bad organisation

Food was great, however our private group was left disappointed with overall experience. First of all, our guide, Maxime, was late. His English was not something you would expect from a guide. As mentioned, food was delicious, however the order of the whole tour was somewhat not right. The tour started with a dessert, then quiche, then oysters, macaroons, then crepes, then red wine, cheese and ham. Stomach did not felt well after this experience. You might think that this is a local way to eat, but is it really? Moreover, one of the places that we were supposed to visit was closed. Plan B was arranged on the spot, however not right away. Taking into account the fee for this private tour, the expectations were not met - lack of organization.

Loved the local history and look into Parisian life. The guide was informative and friendly. The stops were a little bread/dessert heavy (only 2 savory stops). But everything was delicious & fascinating.

Our guide Andrea was great. We walked up the hill to see the beautiful church and view of Paris. As we walked up we stopped in shops and selected macarons, pastries and then stopped at a cafe and had coffee ,tea or hot chocolate. We had lunch on our way down at a cafe. We said our preference and our guide met our needs. Our guide told us stories and talked about Paris.

Tour Guide didn’t show up … or contact us!

Horribly unprofessional and unreliable - BUYER BEWARE!! My wife and I booked a walking food tour and received confirmation that we were to meet our tour guide (Maxime) outside of the metro station right near the Moulin Rouge at 11. Long story short, our tour guide never showed up! After many calls, texts and voicemails to the number we were given for Maxime, we got no reply. Waited until about 11:30 and then walked Montmarte for our own tour, without the guide. Be careful! Currently in the process of getting the runaround trying to get a refund. What a disaster.

Great eating and history walking tour in Montmartre

For this trip to Paris we decided to try some new things, away from the usual museums. This was a very fun and informative (and very tasty!) tour of the Montmartre area. Our tour guide, Bibiana, is a Montmartre local which was even luckier as the day of our tour was also the day of a metro strike! So if she hadn’t been local this would not have worked out! We walked up to the top of Montmartre, periodically stopping to both sample food and learn about the area (history, architecture, residents). Bibiana kept it fun and rolling along. We ended at Sacre Coeur, of course very beautiful. We recommend both this tour and Bibiana!

Such a great tour of Paris and Montmarte. Our guide was very knowledgeable and kind. We enjoyed the chocolate and crepes. We also truly enjoyed the history of the area. Be prepared! This is a very hilly area of Paris and our guide did mention some people haven't been able to tour the whole area.

Definitely not 10 tastings!

Zoltan was a great tour guide however we did not get 10 tastings. We had more sweet than savory which still left us hungry. For the amount we paid I feel we did not receive enough food.

One of my favorite parts of my trip. Olivia was AMAZING! She is very knowledgeable about the area. This area is very hilly! I had a wonderful time talking with her about many subjects not just Montmartre. It felt like I was having a walk/talk/eat/drink with a friend. There is a lot of food!!
